Gabriel's POV

I was having breakfast that morning when I sent the maid on duty to call Natalia for me. Strangely, she was shivering. At first, everyone thought she was having a fever, and as a good boss who valued his workers' welfare, I decided to call a doctor to attend to her. That was the moment she began to panic.

I went through a lot of trouble to get the truth out of her. It was then I found out about Natalia's audacity to leave the house after our agreement, and without my knowledge. To confirm the maid's words, I checked the CCTV footage of the house and listened to their conversation.

Since the maid had been threatened, I only promised to deduct a certain percentage of her salary and seize her bonus payment by the end of the month, instead of firing her. The maid was grateful which annoyed me further.
