It's been over an hour since I ordered the doctor to take that heartless girl away. I don't care if she is yet to recover from whatever sh*t happened to her two weeks ago. She caused it and that was the outcome.

I sat with my head cringed. My hand slowly runs through my hair. Well, I knew damn well that my hair was a mess due to the constant ruffling but I don't care. I just wanted to be sure Melissa was safe. She has had a lot and I as well. I can't afford to lose her… The babies are gone. I could feel tears forming in my eyes at the thought of the lost pregnancy but I held it all in.

I heaved a deep sigh then ran my hand through my face, hoping all was well with her.

I was brought back to the moment when I heard footsteps approaching, I slowly tilted my head to see if it was Dr. Lucas and luckily for me, he was the one as intended .
