The knock at the door made them pull away from the breathtaking kiss. The passionate kiss was so good and Sophia didn't want to pull away. I guess it was her way of saying thanks to the man who has been supporting her in every way.

“Who is there?” Sophia asked as she struggled to catch her breath.

“It's I," the mellifluous voice came and she knew who it was.

“Come in,” she said, leaning to the headboard and she darted her eyes countless times at the man sitting beside her who stared at her like he was shocked by what she had done. Indeed the young man was surprised with the way Sophia just kissed him.

Something he never expected she could do since she was devastated. He looked at her with a thousand questions in his eyes but he swallowed hard adjusting his collar before whoever knocked at the door would come in. Somehow Mark was pleased with the kiss. His eyes suddenly lit up as his lips crept with a slight smile.
