Seventy-One

"What's wrong?" Valerie had no clue David just walked into the hall with Ms. Wang.

"Speak of the devil and he just arrived"

"What are you talking about?" Valerie was still confused, David was looking at her hoping that she would turn around.

"David just walked in with Ms. Wang"

"What?" She gently turns around meeting David intense gaze on her, Ms. Wang was jealous seeing David staring at Valerie. A lot of emotions run through Valerie's eyes and she attempts to take a step towards him when her eyes fall on Jason glaring at her. She had thought he was talking to some of his guests and wouldn't have time to watch her like a hulk but she was wrong, Jason wasn't even Interested in whatever Margaret and some of her guests had to say. All these while, he has been staring at her without her knowledge, he couldn't keep his eyes off her and was hoping to see the man that would get close to her so he would smash his face.

As if sensing the daring look in his eyes, Valerie takes a step backwards
