As the evaluation day of law firms was drawing near, Lisa had already made up her mind that she was going to protect Lucio. After she informed him that they would break up, she put a space between them but Lucio will not take her word to heart. He was in love with her and she was still in love with him but was not bothering to let her feelings for him come out. Lisa was good at hiding her feelings and after what he did, she decided that she was going to hide her feelings for him so that Lucio would not go back distancing himself from her ever again. The last one nearly drove her insane and she was almost losing her mind when he stopped talking with her.
