Eighty-Nine

The sunny midday call to her like all glimpses of loss, fury and frustration consumed her as her dark darker day's drew nearer. When the waiter lowers a glass of wine in front of her, Valerie was so lost that she didn't even see him till he was gone and Lucio reclined back to see his seat.

"Sorry I had to meet you here" Valerie said.

Lucio was her business partner as well as her lawyer and they often had to meet with each other. In the past, she was always coming around his office for their meetings but ever since she got married to Jason, he stopped from going to the Delevento Company so that she does not run into David.

Jason was keeping her away from anything that will bring her together with the man she was still in love with after all this time. She hasn't still been able to get him out of her head and still hopes for the day when both of them will finally get back together.
