When Valerie walked in through the door, her heart raced as she entered the living room. The meeting with Lucio ended rather quickly but thankfully he left almost immediately after swearing not to tell Jason about her pills.

She just didn't even want to think about what he was going to do to her for lying to him. Lucio made a mistake by telling Jason but she couldn't be mad at him. He was not the only one to blame for any of this. She was the one who lied to Jason in the first place. If she was a little honest in her words then maybe she won't be entering her house like a criminal. She was scared of what he might do to her.

Fear engulfs her skin as sweat forms on her forehead. Her heart races with every step she takes into the house. Jason wouldn't have accepted that she went over to meet Lucio. He would have told her to come up with an excuse to meet him and so she had to lie.
