“Hi darling, come meet Angela” she said as she linked her arms with his and brought him to the table.

“I've already met her!” he answered in a deep, booming voice, referring to the day she came with Tristan to his office.

“Did you guys exchange pleasantries?” she asked as she took her seat.

“It was work related” he replied coldly, still glaring at her. Angela squirmed uncomfortably under his scrutiny. She didn't dare to meet his eyes.

“Hi Sir, pleased to meet you…again” she said with a pleasant smile while avoiding eye contact with him.

“I can't say the same for you” he replied and Angela’s face fell but Tristan patted her hand gently under the table.

Travis Perry was ruthless, cold and seemed very strict. No one dares to disobey him because those who did in the past attested that something unfortunate happened to them right after that.
