It's been three weeks now and Aria still hasn't gone to work because Robert had asked to take a little break off and truly she appreciated the gesture because she was truly tired and needed the rest and she was definitely going to get it now she was home. Robert constantly texted her all day, and she'd find herself giggling and waiting for his text if she hadn't gotten any from him yet. It was amazing how he made her feel and the longing she felt if she hadn't heard from him. Elanne visited her frequently, and she loved having her around. Anna still went to work frequently, but did not fail to text her. Ivan kept on texting her incessantly and so she blocked him again so he wouldn't get access to her. He kept telling her that Robert wasn't good for him and he knew something about Robert would surprise her. She kept on asking him but he refuse to divulge the information so she figured that he was just trying to make her scared and he wasn't worth any sort of attention. But on the other
The last statement Aria said to Lily was: "You know what Lily, I think you should take your leave." And she really meant it, it felt like they were moving in circles. And also Lily was coming back in to her life because Ivan didn't want her. If he had told her he wanted to be with her and marry Lily, she won't have seen the need to ask for any silly forgiveness. The realization hurt her, she wasn't as special to Lily as she thought but right now, she had already told herself she wasn't going to stress over each other because they didn't deserve the rest. Aria herself wasn't even in the best position regarding her heart, worrying herself over too betrayal would just add to her problems and that was the least thing she wanted right now. They could go to hell for all she cared. Even with all these thoughts in my mind to pour herself strength, she couldn't just shake off that lingering sadness that lodged in her heart each time she thought about what they had done to her regardless of how
"You could ehmm like visit me frequently. I don't really have to live with you." She stuttered as she thought about how impossible it was to completely leave Anna alone in this house because her fake husband insisted on her seeing frequently."No, I want you to stay with me." "That's not possible." She shook her head before she wore a smile on her face. "I can assure that I'm doing great and Anna takes good care of me.""You're not doing great and you're just saying that because you don't want leave with me.""Anna takes good care of me. It's just that she has to go to work and when she comes back, she tries her best to attend to my needs.""You need more support that Anna cannot provide hence you need to leave with me and let my staff take good care of you and attend to every of your needs 247"Aria shifted uncomfortably in her seat. The offer seemed mouthwatering but she couldn't imagine leaving Anna and going yo stay at some man's house whej she was supposed to be taking care of h
Robert was typing on his laptop but his mind kept on wandering to thoughts about Aria, and he felt something deep in his chest. It was an ache spreading around, he had missed her and he couldn't even lie to himself. It made him extra proud of his decision that he had included the part of her staying in his house with them in the contract. He knew she hadn't read that part with the initial look in her eyes when he had brought it to her notice. He wished he hadn't made her feel exploited and preyed upon but he was happy that finally, she would stay in his house and he'd get to see her as frequently as he wanted. He loved that, the thought made joy blossom in his chest and he wouldn't trade this feeling foe any other thing in this chest. Aria would stay in his house and it wouldn't give them an opportunity to bond more and an higher chance of her deciding to marry him when he tells her he wants it to be more than a contract. His phone rang, causing a break in his thoughts. He looked down
Harry wished he could stand up from the dinner he was having with his family. If someone had asked him what he wanted now, he'd simply respond that he wanted to take his food and leave the table without offending any of his parents. They kept on talking about successful Robert was and how they were proud of him. His mother had never talked about him in that way yet she didn't hesitate to contribute when his father started the conversation. It was just about Robert and Robert. He looked sideways and saw a grin etched on Bryan's face, one could tell that he was more proud to call Robert his big brother, more than he was to call him. "My boy keeps making me proud. It's so surreal that RL enterprises made list." His father said with a proud smile on his face. Apparently, RL enterprises had been listed at one of the fastest rising tech companies in his Los Angeles."Ofcourse. We were all here when it started." His mother, Lauren said nodding her head. Harry raised his gaze and stared at h
Aria sat on the sofa, surfing through channels and having a hard time deciding what to watch. She mostly spent time on her face so she rarely watch tv, so each time she was forced to watch the tv, she had a hard time deciding what to watch. It was Anna who was keen on watching tv and would not hesitate to grab the slightest opportunity to watch her favourite channel. As she scanned through the channels, she found each of them boring and unable to hold her interest after like five minutes of fixing her eyes on them. She finally settled for a channel that showed music videos, reducing it to the almost the lowest volume, she flung the remote control across the sofa. She scrolled through her phone and replied to a few messages, including Elanne's where she had been talking about how she missed her and how work was boring for her seeing that she didn't have anyone to talk to. Aria blushed at the messages and assured her that she was going to resume soon even though she knew that was a lie
"Aria please I need to talk to you." He begged."No," she said sternly and shut the door in his face."It's urgent." She heard him say before she banged in his face. But as she proceeded to the couch, shs kept on hearing him ring the door bell. He was relentless and hellbent on conveying an information."Ivan, what the hell do you want!" She yelled, before getting the door. He was still standing there. Visible relief spread through his features as she opened the door."Can I please come in?" He asked her"Why? You can speak from here isn't it?" She asked him."It's about Robert." He said, knowing fully well that that would hold her attention and make her want to listen to him more. She knew he thought that way, so she decided to feign nonchalance."What about him and how does that concern me?" She shrugged. "If this is about Robert then it doesn't concern me in the slightest." She responded, amidst he curious mind that begged to be satisfied."You deserve to know because you definetel
Aria couldn't be anymore happy when Elanne told her earlier this morning she would be paying her a visit. Excitement bubbled within her chest, and she could finally ask someone if what Ivan said was true. She also planned on asking Elanne for her opinion on what had been happening. Of course, she wouldn't tell her it was about her; she could substitute the original names for fake ones. Or she could lie and say that she had watched a movie where all of what she was saying had happened. Either way, she needed a third eye to view the situation with objectivity. She didn't know what to think anymore. She felt like every trace of her judgment was dampened by her emotions. When Elanne came in, she sprung to her feet and embraced her in a bear hug. Elanne grinned, hugging her tighter. When they pulled back, they both had this joyous spark in their eyes."Look at you," Elanne said, examining her. "I've missed you.""I've missed you too." Aria said. "How are you doing?""I'm just fine, I mean.
