Aria stretched on the bed as her alarm beeped. Since she wasn't going to work, most times she spent longer time on her bed but today, she had to get out of her bed earlier than usual because Elanne was coming over. They had not seen each other in a while. She was getting tired of the few faces she saw each day. She needed a new face.

She got out of her bed, realising that Robert must have gone to work. Aria picked up her phone, about to text him when his message came in: I left for work about a few minutes ago, I didn't want to wake you up. Have a great day and call me if you need anything. Love you.

The text made Aria giggle a little. Robert truly had her heart, the things he said and did made her heart dance with joy.

She replied: I will, take care of yourself.

His reply came in immediately: I'm wondering why you didn't say the L word back.

A: i just woke up and I wasn't thinking straight. I love you.

Then she dropped her phone and made her way into the bathroom. She started by brus

When Robert came back, as he took off his office wear, all Aria could think about was how to tell him about her conversation with Elanne. Yes, she said she didn't care much about the investigation anymore she still wanted to share with him what she had found.Robert arched his brows at her after he cleared his throat. "Why does it feel like you're thinking about something? You wanna share?"Aria nodded. "Elanne came over today.""That's nice. You must be happy to have her company." Robert smirked and went ahead to sit. First took off his stockings then his shoes and went over to place them on the shoe rack. "So how was it?""Good, good. We talked about something." Aria told him, setting the tone for the conversation. "I want to tell you about it.""You know you can always talk to me about anything Princess. Haven't we established that?""Yeah," Aria nodded, silently hoping his interest wouldn't fade off when he figures out the subject."Go out, I'm waiting. I'm about to take a shower.

Elanne's last conversation with Aria continued to replay in her mind. She knew that even though Aria said she didn't care about it anymore, she was genuinely disturbed and she was still going to help her friend however the case maybe. She made up her mind to confront Queensley about it and hopefully she got something out of it. As she dressed for work that morning, that was all she could think about. Nothing that but that. The determination pumped more adrenaline into her system, making her feel she was unstoppable and she could achieve what she had put her mind into. That morning, as she stepped behind her receptionist desk, her eyes constantly darted towards the door waiting for Queensley to show up. And then finally, she saw walking through the door in a long plain black gown and her bag. A smile was not on her face as usual and for some reasons, Elanne thought that it's because Queensley knew she knew about it all."Morning,"Queensley greeted, avoiding her gaze.Elanne nodded. "Mo

She said she was sorry. The words rang in Elanne's ears as she thought about it. "So-so why did you do it?" Elanne asked her."Why did I do it?" Queensley repeated, staring downwards. "I needed the money and so I had to do it."This was deeper than Elanne thought, meaning someone paid Queensley to do it. Queensley pressed her two hands together and pleaded with her desperately. "Promise me you're not going to tell anyone whatever I tell you, please."Elanne didn't think those were the next words that would come out from her mouth. She stuttered. "I don't know what to say to you because you know of all people should know I'm doing all of this for Aria and there's no way I wouldn't tell her about this. If it weren't for Aria, the information would be useless to me.""But I'm your friend too, or am I not?" Queensley asked, her voice barely above a whisper."I'm not sure anymore, if you knew we were friends then you weren't supposed to do this to Aria since you know how much I care about

Robert received an unusual message from an unknown email address. Although he didn't know who sent him the mail, he felt instantly worried knowing that someone was feeling depressed and they told about telling him. Startled, he jumped from his bed and stared at his phone closely, rereading the text:"Dad's illness is getting worse so as my depression... I feel like dying, I need to talk to you pls." He squinted his eyes at the text again, trying to come up with possible options of people that could have sent the mail. If the person was Someone close to him, he was sure they could have reached out to him anywhere other than mail. His mail address was strictly for official purposes. He texted back. I'm sorry about that, may I know who's speaking please? Apologies, if you think I'm supposed to know but I don't.He waited for the person to respond as his heart raced. What if the person committed suicide before they could respond. He was bothered, why did the person reach out to him and n

It occurred to Robert that he was joking when he thought that would be the last conversation he would have with Becky. But the way he kept inserting how depression she was in every of their conversation made it difficult for him to end communication with her. Robert scratched his neck as he headed out of the door into his car, he knew this was a bad idea. He had just chosen to ignore his instinct but he thought he was just trying to be of help to her, little did he know that she had other plans. Thankfully he didn't fall for whatever she tried to do. As he drove away, he told himself that he had no business with Becky anymore. She wasn't even his ex, he didn't know her from anywhere and that was how it was going to be from. There's nothing to justify what she did. She had plans of running his relationship with Aria, starting with her cryptic questions to her body language he chose to overlook at first. Gosh, he was just being silly by not leaving at the first sign. Thankfully he was so in love with Aria that she occupied every space of his heart so there wasn't any space for another. He had to tell her what happened. It was obvious that Becky was out to get him, if she reached out to Aria first, it's going to look very fishy and she would

Aria asked Anna if she wanted to come alone with them but she refused, saying she wanted to watch cartoons at home. Aria sighed and nodded. Now she and Robert were prepared for the dinner. Robert was dressed casually but since hadn't gone out in a while, she took this as an opportunity to scan through her outfits and combine them aesthetically. She finally settled for a short chiffon, a piece of jewelry and silver heels."Now look at how I look like your bodyguard standing beside you," Robert joked while he held her waist from the side and kissed her hair. "You look beautiful my queen." He complimented."So do you so, my love." She blushed. His muscular arm was evident under the shirt he wore and his biceps rippled. Aria imagined ta

It felt like they were in a talking stage, they were starting to know each other very well, something they would have done years ago, but it took this long to achieve which wasn't really bad. • The Billionaire's Accidental Bride    141: relief

As Robert drove them home, he felt a sense of relief that his father didn't have to stay at the hospital for more than a day. Robert hated the hospital, not in the strong sense of aversion kind of way, but he felt like the hospital wasn't really a place a sick person needed to be. He couldn't place a finger on why he thought that but he didn't think a sick person deserved to hear about more people dying and inhaling the weird antiseptic that dominated the air. And most people he knew who stayed in the hospital for months due to one illness or the other didn't make it alive, for example his mom and Aria's mom. So for that reason he was happy that his father didn't have to stay there longer than the day he was brought in.His father coughed and he briefly glanced back. Lauren was sitting next to him, holding his hands which moved to rub his arm.Harry who was near Robert stretched the water he held to his father. "I hope you're okay." He didn't even know he loved his father this much. The past months without hearing his voice made him feel like something was missing and he was tired of feeling that way. It was kind of feeling he had to end because it ruined him. Yeah, he didn't care nor think about the consequences or aftermath of the action he was going to take as he drove down there. He had told Bryan to inform him if Dad was at home and the little boy did it as soon as he could because he wanted his big family back. Anna has been moody since Aria told her about her mother's death. She had to tell her though, she couldn't stall it any longer. She wasn't crying anymore but she barely spoke nor showed excitement about anything as she would have before. Anna took that as a sign, she was grieving silently, which was okay. She had to express herself in whichever way she deem fit. As much as she wished Anna didn't have to feel this way, it was necessary and had to happen. Aria glanced across where Anna was lying on the sofa, covering herself with a duvet as her eyes darted between the TV where her favourite cartoon was flickering and her phone in her hands."You sure you're not hungry?" Aria asked again for the third time. She raised her gaze and shook her head."Why? Food is important." Aria asked, worried. "At this point, I'll have to force you to eat something even if you claim not to be hungry."Anna adjusted her lying posture to a sitting one, putting her foot on the floor. "Trust me, I'll eat when
