Chapter Eighty-One

I knew that I had a special way of knowing whenever a message was coming from him and was curious to check my phone to read the message.

"Ooh, that's nice, thanks, please update me more," I typed and got an okay reply.

I kept thinking about Thomas and what he was currently going through with his son. I knew that it would be so painful for him.

I knew that no person should go through what he did, especially when it's coming directly from his blood...

Thomas had finally gotten to the court compound after he was driven by his driver and both he and Houghton had been discussing the journey.

He was anxious even though he knew that he was right to win the case. He was so anxious and nervous that his son could do anything, like for instance how he made me testify wrongly against him when I did.

He knew that he couldn't trust Lincoln at all and he should expect the worse from Lincoln.
