#48 The Fated Event

last update Last Updated: 2024-08-22 02:26:18
My worst nightmare was here! The physical education week of the final year students.

It was a tradition that in the final year, they would make all the students participate in different sports - track and field, gymnastics, Archery, Shooting, Wrestling, boxing, sword fighting, and many more. Then they would be selected and trained for the rest of the year on the activity they were best at. At the end of the year, they had to compete with their peers of similar strength and have to pass at least one activity to be able to clear the final year.

It was a chance for all wolves to showcase their strength and stamina and they prepared for this almost all their teenage lives. The one who shone the most in this week at the beginning of the year kind of ruled the school for the rest of the year.

And here I was, battling my teenage years with things I shouldn't have. I was the weakest. And everyone knew this, including myself.

Every year, I watched my peers outdoing their achievements. And the

"Are you sure about this?" John asked, his voice tinged with concern. His words made me even more nervous than I was. Jake had said he believed in me and I wouldn't be that bad since my wolf was no longer fully suppressed. He even boasted that I might end up first. That was atrocious and painful, weighing me down. I was not the Luna material he assumed me to be.Ever since that night, I could no longer feel my wolf or its strength. I think my wolf is a horny one, only wanting sex and more sex from Jake. So that's when she shows up.I shook my head, my eyes narrowing, squeezing Kathy's hand as I looked at the first round. All the wolves who claimed to be the best runners and had been winning trophies for our school took part in it. In a flash, the event ended. They ran like light, I guess. "It's alright. No one expects you to run with them." Kathy hissed, even though she was sweating more than me. She had finished first in her competition, yet her worry for me was a sign of the stren

I had tried one last time to see if I could get Jake under my control. Well, if things had worked out, I would have become the Blackmoon pack's Luna. Who knew if that would have changed my fate? But like always - I was rejected. I sighed, putting up the dress. It was time I had to let go of Jake and continue with the original plan. I had to meet the big boss finally. The thought of him alone made me nervous and excited. I don't know why he had such a strong control over me. After he found me when my pack and my family had abandoned me - my life became his. With Jake, for the first time, I thought I might start fresh. But ours was an ill-fated relationship - that was perhaps sealed by the devil himself.I glanced at my phone again, confirming the decoy's appearance. She looked enough like me to pass any suspicion. I lay still for a moment, my heart still pounding after that intense sex. I loved every bit of it. Dane’s arm sprawled over me as he slid beside me, panting and gasping for air. "That was fucking good, Sylvie." He moaned, his eyes heavy with possession, his breathing uneven. But before I could tell something, he was already on his toes, reaching for his clothes. I followed his suit, gulping down my emotions once again. I would have liked for us to cuddle like lovers for once. But he was always in a rush. As I slipped my dress back on, I glanced at him. He was going through something over his phone, sipping the coffee he made. This man held so much power, yet carried it like a burden. He never fully believed it yet that he was now the alpha of the prestigious Whitemoon pack. He was always suspicious, always wary, always on his toes. He was never at rest, always expecting a challenge. I wondered if the position was worth it. “You said it was urgent,” Dane broke th

“Will it be enough? You keep saying we will be together once you have enough power. But how long do I have to wait, Dane?” I asked, my eyes fixed on his.Dane’s eyes flickered with irritation. “Don’t start with this again. You are an omega, Sylvie. The only reason people think you are a beta is because of me. You should be grateful I even keep you around."Tears threatened to fall, facing his rejection. I should be used to this now. But every time, it hurt more. His gaze softened, wiping the tear that had fallen. “How can you think of it now? You know why we are doing this. I need Linda's support. She is my fated mate." He sighed heavily. I flinched at his words but forced myself to keep my composure. Even if he was trying to comfort me, his words pierced through my chest like a double-edged sword. This was the price I paid for my loyalty to him, for my ambition to rise above my station. I had to swallow the humiliation, the constant reminder of where I came from. His voice toned dow

I leaned back in my chair, staring at the message Xander had just sent me, the images still glowing on my screen. I was right about Sylvie. How could I not see this before? She kept vanishing, claiming she went deep into the forest to interview rogues and hunters and whatnot. All that was a facade to cover up her illicit affair.I should have let Xander tail Sylvie. He was the one who helped me gather information about Elsa. Only if I had pushed further and not believed in the sacrificing story, that Sylvie had put for the world to believe. Sylvie had dropped her car off with some woman dressed like her—same hair, same clothes, same everything. It was a cheap decoy, and I couldn’t believe I hadn’t seen through her tricks sooner. At that moment, I got a call from Tyler."Jake, I think you were right." Tyler's voice was low, but I could feel the undercurrent of anger.I clenched my jaw. "Even if we know it is Dane, we still need more proof for Elsa to believe us. Did we get any lead on

I took her hand and led her to the bathroom. "Your medication. I think it’s time you stop taking these pills. What you need is focus, training, and meditation. You need to trust yourself again."Her breath hitched, but she didn’t pull away. "Jake? Are you sure?"I nodded. "Yes. Now or Never, Elsa."She hesitated for a moment, but then she agreed, putting her faith in me once again. "Okay." I was feeling more and more responsible towards her. Together, we opened the cabinet, gathering all the bottles of medication that had kept her numb from feeling any emotion. After closely observing Sylvie for a few days now, I strongly doubted that the medicines were intentionally given to her to suppress her wolf. I had sent a sample and her prescription to our pack psychiatrist. The results should be out soon. One by one, we flushed them down the toilet. As the last pill disappeared, I wrapped my arms around her waist, pulling her close. It was a symbolic, important step to cast away the demons

  • The Billionaire Alpha Calls me Mate   #55 The Date

Elsa’s POVThe surroundings became too quiet, except for the noise of the night creatures or the rustling of the leaves under the cool night breeze as we walked through the forest, hand in hand. It was some date - in the middle of the forest. I didn't know what he had planned, but I walked close to him, my heart racing with apprehension."Wow...!!!" My eyes widened as I took in the breathtaking sight in front of me. I thought it only happened in movies. But this was surreal. An intimate, cozy cabin nestled deep in the woods welcomed us. It was far from the pack and everything that tied us to our roles. I needed this freedom. The path was lined with candles, flickering warmly. A table was set up outside, basking in the moonlight. Soft music played in the background, carried by the gentle breeze. Fairy lights were strung around the porch, casting a golden hue, just like in the dramas. A small bonfire crackled nearby, its flames dancing lazily in the night air.I gasped, unable to contai

Jake broke the kiss, his heated breath mingling with mine. I kept my eyes closed, flustered to open and bear witness. My lips quivered, longing for the warmth of his kiss again as he brushed his thumbs around my mouth softly. He leaned in, nudging his nose against mine as we breathed together, lost in this intimate moment. My heart raced, and I was panting heavily, trying to steady my breath. My hands rested on his chest, feeling the hard muscles. I swallowed hard, inhaling his warm breath, enticed by what was going to happen next. I squeezed my thighs together, feeling the wetness that had pooled there, feeling hot and wet. The heat between us was unbearable. His hard cock pressed insistently against my stomach, dizzying me with anticipation."Fuck!" I groaned heavily when Jake's hands slid to my ass, squeezing them as he pulled me closer. "Oh! God!" A gasp escaped my lips, and a shiver ran through me as desire coursed through every nerve in my body. I wanted more. Before I knew it,

e knew I wanted him. He knew I had been begging for this for a long time... even before everything unraveled. Honestly since the day we met. He didn't pull out his finger but to my utter pleasure he inserted another... and then another as he began to scissor my insides. "Ah... Like that... Damn! Oh, yes!" I moaned heavily in pleasure. I was leaking wet, my juices flowing freely. He was back to kissing and sucking on my nipples while his fingers worked their magic, churning my insides. Electric tingles emerged from my nipples, coursing down to my core. The sensation was overwhelming. Growing impatient, I searched for Jake's erection. And when I found it, I grabbed it as if my life depended on it. I began to glide my hands skillfully as he began to crumble. "Elsa!" He groaned, twitching under my sudden touch. "Don't! Argh!" "Fuck! This feels so good! Damn it!" His eyes rolled back as he grunted with pleasure. I was now skillful at this. When he had not much time, or I visited his o

  • The Billionaire Alpha Calls me Mate   #110 Please... Jake...

Elsa's POV That night... the moment we entered into the house, the clothes fell immediately. Jake had already asked everyone to leave the entire mansion to just the two of us. "Fuck!" Jake groaned huskily at my touch. But then he pulled me closer, his lips finding mine in a fervent kiss. He got bolder, matching my intensity. He pressed me against the wall, my legs crossed against his hips as he squeezed my ass and deepened the kiss. When his lips left mine, they trailed down towards my jaw and then to my neckline before settling on the soft spot of mate bond. As soon as he sucked on the spot near my neck, I gasped heavily, a pleasurable wave spreading across me, sending goosebumps all over. "Urrgghhh..." I groaned, my voice muffled with pleasurable whimpers. The sounds of our passion filled the room as Jake’s touch ignited a fire within me. He then carried me over and placed me on a desk after flipping everything down. He parted my legs, rubbing my clit, continuing his onslaught.

Just then, Kathy and John approached, as if the weight of the day was already pressing on them. "Elsa," Kathy called out, her voice bright. "It’s really happening, huh? Are you sure you don't want this?" I smiled, feeling her nervous energy buzzing around her. "No! You ready for this?" Kathy let out a breath, her eyes scanning the faces of the pack members scattered across the clearing. "I have trained for this my whole life, but now that it’s here, I just...I don’t want to screw it up." "You won’t," I assured her, placing a hand on her shoulder. "The pack believes in you. And John will be by your side, as will all of us." John stepped forward and gave Kathy a reassuring nod. "She is right, Kath. You have got this." Kathy’s eyes softened as she looked at John. The bond between them was undeniable. They weren’t mates, but they had a connection that ran deeper. "I couldn’t do this without you," Kathy said quietly, and John leaned closer and kissed her. • The Billionaire Alpha Calls me Mate   #108 The New Alpha

Elsa's POV As the door clicked shut behind me, Xander leaned casually against the sleek black car. He was like a breath of fresh air. Jake was off meeting the council about Sylvie’s trial at the werewolf council. Jake had turned the werewolf world upside down and found out Sylvie hiding in the Silvermoon pack. There were too many proofs against her and even the Silvermoon pack after learning the truth had given their statement against her and Dane. Still, I hadn’t been able to shake the restless feeling all morning. Even though I was invited, I didn’t want to be there. If I had my way, she wouldn’t be rotting in prison; she would be dead like Dane. Well, it was Lydia who under Jake's guidance managed to gather most evidence against Sylvie, gaining support from Jake. Even if I was wary of her, I knew she was Kathy's mother and also the Luna of my former and still friendly pack. "Ready?" Xander asked. I was glad to see him. He had recovered well and now he was even acting as my cha

  • The Billionaire Alpha Calls me Mate   #107 Final Battle Part 2

Elsa's POV The battle was chaos. Jake’s side of wolves was nothing if not relentless and brutal. They were a sight to behold in a war. And I was only contributing as little as I could. They crashed into Dane’s forces, shifting the tide almost instantly. The clash of wolves was deafening, the air thick with growls, the tearing of flesh, and the sound of bodies hitting the ground. The blood beneath us was stained to dark red, showing that this was a blood bath. “Stay together!” Jake’s voice roared through the pack link, commanding and fierce. “Don’t let them break the line!” I could hear him, too, perhaps through our bond. I could feel the determination surging through the pack bond. Jake’s presence was like an anchor in the madness. His massive black wolf, a towering figure of raw strength, tore through the enemy ranks. With every swipe of his claws, with every snap of his jaws, he was taking down Dane’s men one by one and their numbers began to dwindle faster. If not for my fat

Elsa's POV"Elsa!" Asher closed his eyes, embracing his fate. How could he? How could he accept death?I shivered, watching in horror as Damon closed in on Asher. His grip tightened, and Asher’s face paled. I looked at everyone, hoping someone would save him. But no one dared to move an inch. And Dane looked at them like he was watching a great show.My heart pounded in my chest, and I screamed inside. But before I could do anything something massive struck Damon, sending him crashing to the ground. Asher coughed. But he was safe.A howl tore through the forest, echoing in the night. The sound was fierce, raw, and powerful. My vision blurred for a second before I realized it had come from me. It was me who had saved Asher!I stood there, my body no longer human, but my wolf. I had shifted. Despite the drugs. When or how, I had no idea. All I knew was that this power coursing through me was new, stronger than anything I had ever felt. I growled, stepping forward, my eyes locking on Dane

Damon's POVWhen I finally reached the waterbody, I let Elsa rest beneath the shelter of an old oak. The madness in me simmered, threatening to break free. I was a mere puppet of Dane, and my job was to stop Elsa from shifting. If needed, I should kill her as well. But something didn't allow me to even do a single scratch on her. She seemed so precious, so important. And I had been restless ever since I brought her to my home for some years now. That place, which I really didn't bother about, was beginning to feel like home.By now, one thing I have realized. Despite these feelings, this fatherly love, I still had no control when I saw her as a threat to Dane's mission. I was afraid, this side of me, the dominant side of me, would harm her eventually. The only thing that kept me in control and my sanity intact for now was sharp, shooting pain.I looked at her. She was unconscious and helpless. I should protect her, care for her, and stand for her as her father. I wanted to tell her how

Damon, my father, was sitting on a large stone, staring at nothing. His fingers rubbed against his wrist constantly, like a loop and he kept repeating something frantically.
