A Twisted Turns of Events.

"Victoria," he said, his voice laced with frustration and anger as he met my gaze, "you're asking me to do the impossible. I can't comply with your request, and if you're not careful, you'll find yourself banned from this company. This is none of your business." His eyes, clouded with rage, darted towards the window as he tightly clutched his coffee mug.

I stood my ground, refusing to back down. "I'll stay right here until you call security," I replied, determined to get the truth out of him. "If you want me to trust you, then you need to tell me what you're hiding. It's becoming more and more interesting that it has something to do with Mike. There's obviously some connection, and you seem to be unaware that I don't like to see you like this."
