Chapter 30

I woke up long before dawn Wednesday morning, ready to get started on my peacemaking mission and attempt to facilitate an alliance between the two packs. This was going to be fun. I had never done this before, but I knew how to keep myself and my mate calm. If I could reason with him and his brother to get them to calm down and be open to change, I could surely do the same with Alpha Conner. I know he loves my cooking enough that he wouldn’t want to go without it if he could help it. It also helped that I would have Luna Jessie with me. Food always helps… especially when it’s comfort food. Everything I was making for lunch was considered comfort food.
