Sam POV Adam sweeps Jenna up in his arms as Jenna lets out a pained moan. “How long?” Adam says tersely to Jenna. Sarah POV Being stuck in this bed while everything was happening around me was infuriating. I knew things were happening and everyone was being great keeping me in the loop; however, finding things out after the facts was killing me. Not being able to help or provide support was difficult to tolerate. As I lay there waiting for Jack to return with food, I contemplated getting up. Just for a few minutes. But I knew better. Miranda POV The more everyone kept Stevens on the line the more I could find a link to him. The link drew me to the place he was currently holed up. Shockingly he was at the Council’s offices. There was a location deep underground that he had taken over. While there were a limited number of wolves surrounding him inside the building, I could sense a significant number of rogues surrounding the Wolf Council. Without realizing it, everyone was helping me achieve my goal of finding Stevens. I could not pick up the vibe of Daniel but that did not mean he was not alive. Daniel POV I was never so scared as I had been when I had been tortured. I knew I was not long for this world when they punctured my lung. When I saw Miranda, I was blown away. Lucas POV I have been sitting by Daniel’s bed since they finished operating on him. I cannot bear to look at my mate without rage taking over my mind. Seeing the abuse Daniel withstood breaks me. I do not know how he survived but I will be forever grateful he had the strength to do so. I watch the consistent blip on the machine indicating he is alive.
