Lilith indigo

Walking into the round table room I was met with the four faces of Nova, Gabriel, Kagura, an Cliff. Wondering loosely, my eyes began searching for Ethan, feeling weird when I didn't see him in the chamber with us.

Taking me out of my thoughts, Both Nova an Gabriel gave me a turned-up nose covering their faces in disgust.

"Did you sleep with the mutts or something?" Gabriel drew a step back dramatically.

Sniffing the surrounding air my neck twisted to look around at the two pack members, shrugging I sat down at one of the seats. "I only smell them?" I said questionably.

"No It's definitely you." Gabriel held a step towards me, sniffing the air right above my head now. "You smell Just Like the-."

"Good Evening." The King Busted through the round table room's door, an enormous smile plastered on his face. "I hope You Guys are all Ready for your second night..." he glanced around to all of us. "As I had been informed already, the Beta will be just a Bit late Lilith." He peeked over at me.

"That's fine King Eric." I assured him, but inside I couldn't ignore the tab portion of worry that filled a small void in my mind.

"Excellent, all of you be safe and See you at sun rise." He nodded to all of us seeing us on our way.

"Be safe out there, Lilith." Nova Bumped my shoulder playfully to mine before going off full speed to their post.

"Same to you Nova!" I called back, just taking my time walking since I was alone.

"Be on your best Behavior Gab!" I said as he sped past me. I could hear him laugh at my comment to him, sending an "always." My way.

Huffing, I Faced around to the King. "Night King Eric." I bowed to him respectfully.

"Night Lilith."

Running out the gathering room now a lot faster, I went to the Front gate, waiting for my partner.

Pacing the front gate of the Animals lands, I stared down at my watched more annoyed than the first time I glanced down seeing the time.

"It's been an Hour and He's still not here." I complained to myself out loud. The other two pack members were on time, so it didn't make sense to me why their Beta Wasn't.

"My apologies." Ethan came from the shadows of the forest, a smug smile on his face. "The Alpha and I had some things to discuss."

Placing My hand On my Hip, the sight of him froze me in my stance as his scent flew by my nose making me quiver. Somehow he didn't smell as bitter to me, more captivating than anything.

"Miss me?" He smirked seeing I hadn't moved yet from staring at him.

Rolling my eyes at his question, I turned away from him, heading in the east direction to start our patrol.

"Oh that's right- can't miss me when you're to busy with Vampire King Up there." He replied to himself, noticing I said nothing.

Looking back at him over my shoulder with a cold stare, I responded. "What is it to you?" Turning back forwards again.

"What is it with you two, anyway? Are y'all lovers?" Ethan asked just being plain Nosey.

"I love Him, yes." I said Truthfully, not knowing where Ethan was going with this.

Feeling a heating sensation cover my entire body, I started to sweat all over the place as if I was burning up or something. Turning back to Ethan I could see his chest was moving up an down heavily, his breath shallow.

"What's Wrong with you?" I tried to get out before Ethan Had trapped my body in-between his an a Tree trunk.

'What The?' I thought, my eyes snapping to his startled.

He huffed for a bit, the tips of his fingers clawed into the timber, stuck between the bark.

"Ethan..." I say shaking scared of the unknown.

At the sound of his name, our gaze met and He reluctantly let loose of the wood bark backing up from me.

"I should have never asked." He looked away, walking from me as fast as he could.

Uneasy I crept from the tree, gaining my composure, an dusting my uniform off.

"I thought I told you not to touch me!" I yelled back, angry this time.

Ethan Scoffed at me, throwing his hand up in a 'leave me alone' motion only further pissing me off.

"WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE?!" I exclaimed, pointing my finger at him. "Waltzing up in our territory thinking you can do what you want!" He paused at my words and I could hear his neck crack. Ethan turned my way slowly, that stupid smug look on his face.

"We should finish our patrol." He clasps his hands together mockingly, turning forward again.

"I will Be telling the king about it this time." I said behind his back angrily.

"You're King couldn't do anything about it- if he wanted to." Ethan pipped up, laughing at my remark, taunting me.

"Is that threat?" I questioned back, thinking the nerve of this — imbecile. "After all, we are doing you all a Favor at hand." I quirked my brow up at him.

Ethan Flashed to right in front of my face, his lips just a centimeter from mine- that if I just pushed my lips out slightly they would touch each other.

"It's Definitely not a Threat- Major Indigo, Lilith." He purred tauntingly, laughing in my face than backing away. "You'll see Lilith..." he finished off.

Glaring up at him, I Brushed off his words, pushing past him beginning to walk again on the edge of the gate.

Quietly the time went by, not another word to be heard; until Ethan Snapped his nose up in the sky taking a huge whiff of the air.

"Stand behind me." He moved in front of me crouching down lowly. Ethan began to growl, his hands balling into a fist, the hairs of his werewolf growing from them fast.

"Take Your clothes off first!" I tried to urge smelling the multiple wolves that were headed our way. Soon after though three wolves emerged from the tress an Ethan transition so gracefully right in front of me, leaving me In a ‘Awe’. Seeing Ethans Huge frame, The wolves tried to dodge Him and go straight for the cattle, but I jumped up kick slamming one back down to the ground. The one wolf shook off my kick while the other two fought Ethan, seeking to at least get past him to the animals.

Seeing them attack at his neck my heart tugged, knowing I needed to help I ran that way grabbing a Stake from my belt Throwing it like a dart to a bullseye. The Stake hit the hind leg of a wolf stopping him from getting at Ethan's Throat anymore an trying to pull the stake from his leg. The Tame did its job an soon the wolf was Out cold morphing back into human form. Looking over to Ethan making sure he was Ok I was thrown back harshly into a tree by the wolf I had jumped kick.

"Dammit, I forgot about you." I coughed up gaining composure. The wolf in front of me howled loudly charging my way, hurried; I Grab for another stake ready to shove it right down the throat of the Mutt. He continued my way an I waited there for him impatiently - ready.

"GRH!" Ethan practically roared out, his wolf frame coming from the side line an grabbing the Rouge up by its neck. He bit down hard, causing the wolf to squeal loudly, thrashing his paws everywhere causing trees to fly across the fields an land as they fought. Ethan didn't let up though, and the resistance of the rouge only made him chomp down harder, his growls more intense.

Observing him scuffle with the other wolf, I silently admired him as his paw held the rouges face down to the earth's floors, mushing his jaw still continuing to naw at the neck of the wolf.

Ethan was Really Breathtaking, an the thoughts that formed in my mind while watching him baffled me. I wanted him to wrestle my body just as he was wrestling with this wolf... the inner me was almost jealous, I - I wanted him To pin me to the wall ripping my clothes off seductively just to -.

Hearing a growl now in my face, my eyes opened up to see Ethan right before me still in his wolf form, sniffing me... I didn't even realize my eyes were closed.

Backing Up While Ethan went back into human form, on his hands an Knees; he spoke up, out of breath.

"I can smell you." He huffed out powerfully, vibrating my whole body.

"What?" My face pulled together breathless, like I was the one fighting the wolf; trying to make sense of what he said.

Ethan sat there for a second, then stood up slowly not even caring that all his glory was hanging out... an Boy was it hanging.

Gulping loudly my eyes followed him nervous on the next move he was going to make but excited at the same time.

Bringing his mouth to my ear slowly, he huffed out again, all the air trickling over me sending chills down my spine.

"I said ... I can smell You." He says Pulling back, we stared at each other for a Long moment when Nova Broke our concentration.

"You guys alright?" She called over to us.

"We could hear the commotion from our stations!" Gabriel looked around the area, making sure the coast was clear.

"We would have been here sooner, but we had to wait for the relief the ...king was... sending."

Cliff looked around at the knocked over trees, to the caved in grounds.

"Beta!" Kagura came from out of the trees, coming to his side quickly looking over him.

Inadvertently Jealousy streamed through my body, and I wanted to rip her neck off seeing the way her hands softly went over the skin Of Ethans'. It infuriated me to a point of Unknown.

"Lilith! Why are your fangs out?" Nova touched my shoulder.

Ethan looked over at me putting on the extra cloth's cliff had in his carry bag, our gaze holding a powerful conversation before I looked away from him relaxing.

"We should go alert the king Ethan Has been hurt." I spoke up looking to Gabriel an Nova. "I'll take my leave first."

Gulping, I sprinted as fast as I could, My heart following to the pattern of my feet.

'What was that?' I internally screamed to myself, flushed in embarrassment.

Dismissing it off chuckling to myself I just kept repeating 'What the hell was That?'  In my head.

Reaching the castle I ran through the front door to the round table room instantly.

Once I burst through the doors, King Eric was at the window gazing down at the crop lands.

"King Eric!" I let out tears brimming my eyes unwillingly.

"It's ok Lilith." He let out- again just speaking as if he already knew the same Way Ethan has, it's been driving me mad since yesterday.

"I have something to tell you." He sat me down placing his hands on the nape of my neck.

"But King-." I tried to get up, being pushed back down.

"Lilith it's important." He said sternly, making the worry I had already ten times fold.

"Ok." I bowed in respect for him.

"The Alpha had contact with the rouge wolves that keep attacking us." He started an then stopped taking a deep breath. Not that he needed it. " an it seems like their preparing for war on us, they told the Alpha if they didn't back down they would go after the pack to."

He spoke as calmly as always.

"So king we should start to prepare for war than!" Again I tried to get up, but the king sat me back down.

"Why are you so eager for war, Lilith?" He asked me, gripping my shoulders in a comforting way, trying to understand.

"It's not that I want war King Eric But What are we supposed do Not put up a fight?" I spoke back keeping my voice at the same level as him.

“Not yet Lilith.” He says dropping his shoulders in a defeating motion.

“And why Not?!” I wondered, my eyes getting big.

"Because The Beta Of the pack already found a Solution." He cooled, walking down the side of the table to look out the window again.

"When I saw You for the first time Lilith, I had felt a kind of Happiness I hadn't had in a long time. My Queen was killed By some jealous royal servants, betraying the whole kingdom essentially... but When I saw You..." he paused looking over to me. "I found hope again, that maybe once you got older you could help me rule the kingdom by side… together." He pursed his lips.

My jaw hung open, flabbergasted. "Why can't we?" I proposed knowing that's what I had longed for this whole time. My hand reached out to The kings hand but he retrieved it further to his side, just shaking his head to my question, pursing his lips again. I didn’t understand why We couldn’t  be together if he wanted too? The pit of my stomach feel an I gulped hard.

"What is it king Eric?" I asked just needing to know the Answer

"You." His word sliced through my mind, ringing off so loud my head started to spin.

The feeling I've been having since we met... the ways he's been acting from the tree incident to now... Everything was starting to make sense.

Grabbing on to the King's mantle, my fingers almost ripped the material from being so aggressive with it.

"Do You Understand now Lilith?" The king grabbed my chin, forcing us to look at each other.

I nodded slowly, speaking. "So That Means-." An just as I was about to finish the rest of the sentence, the other patrol members came in, Ethan standing front an center looking pleased with himself. 

"You are my Mate." His voice boomed giving the king a hard glare, watching him touch me.
