Jo checked all the flight tickets carefully. She was appalled, but there was little she could do. At this point, she had to submit and accept the elders' decision. It was still wiser than visiting her parents and sister anyway.

“Ruthless bastard!” She cursed.

“I think this way is safer. The situation is delicate and developmental as this fucking ‘game’ is going on too much.” Nick commented stoically. He learned all the details this morning and was truly worried.

Matthew, despite his headache and hangover, observed him carefully. Judging by his calmness, it meant he knew what was inside the envelope. Probably he was aware of all the turns of events.
