81. Plotting intrigues
“My head is going to explode!” Matthew complained. He was not the type to grumble, but the whole day was full of total misunderstandings. Even the toughest guy would go mad and his patience was already badly damaged in dealing with two injured friends.
“What the fuck was that stupid session?” He questioned Nick.
“That should be our lecture about the psychological aspects of negotiating with emotionally unstable individuals, I mean potential suicides.” Nick played idiot. He had a headache himself too.
“That was dud!” Matthew criticized openly. “I didn’t expect such a brain drain to be performed by this legendary man.”

In the morning Matthew and Mike decided to go out to buy some fruits and vegetables, instead of shopping online.She supposed they just wanted to talk without any onlooker, somewhere away from her or any witnesses. The scenes Matthew had just witnessed didn’t move him at all. He had his thoughts and some assumptions, but he didn't want to disabuse and correct Mike.He realized that he even enjoyed watching him being in pain and jealousy. “We had an excellent lunch, time to get down to work.” Nick said, moving from the table. He started picking up the plates and cleaning up. They had to, at least, try to cut the tiles.“I'll clean the kitchen, gentlemen.” Mike offered voluntarily. For the sake of the neighbors, they finished cutting the tiles at eight o'clock.
