Chapter 46 Divorce Settlement

On Monday morning, Grace was released from police custody. She wanted to take a bath to wash off being locked up in police custody. When she arrived home, Jonathan was in the living room watching television. He just ignored his mother.

Grace’s heart ached because everything she did was for her precious son. She went to the bathroom and took a long bath.

While she was bathing, she received a call from her husband’s lawyer, Mr Cole, requesting to meet her at His Wings restaurant to discuss the divorce settlement. She asked Bongiwe to get her a divorce lawyer.

Bongiwe managed to get Mr Donald for her. The meeting with Mr Cole was at 3:00 pm, and then she met her lawyer, Mr Donald, at 1:00 pm.

She didn’t tell him about the Prenuptial Agreement, she told him that she would agree to divorce her husband if he gave her His Wings restaurant as a divorce settlement. She didn’t tell him that the restaurant belonged to her husband’s daughter-in-law.
