They finished eating. Mark took her home. “Mark, thanks I had a great time. I enjoyed your company. The food was delicious, and I like your father,” said Victoria, blushing.

“It was the best day of my life,” said Mark. Victoria hesitated, “Mark, will you marry me?” Mark was shocked but he quickly snapped back to his senses. “Yes, I will marry you.”

Victoria was so happy she hugged him. “It seems like I’m dreaming, I’m so happy,” said Victoria with tears in her eyes. When Mark saw her tears, his heart ached.

He kissed her tears and said, “I’m the lucky one, who knew that I would meet you when I was meeting my father, so grateful to the Lord,” said Mark sheepishly.

“When do you want us to register our marriage?” asked Mark, he was hoping that Victoria would say soon. “Can we register our marriage this week or next week after you asked my father’s permission to marry me?”
