Chapter 23:

“Why do you have to divorce Azura? How could she bear that?"

“Only when I divorce her, she heartbrokenly leaves me, can she be safe. Galvin, you don't tell her why I'm divorcing her. If she knew I was in danger, she would come back here with me. I know you worry about her too. We don't want her in danger."

Galvin hesitated but still complied with Vincent's request. He was also worried about Azura. He would rather see her suffer than watch her die.

"I'll take care of her until you've settled the matter. But I'll also tell you, if you lie to her, I will take her out of your heart. You should remember, I love her too."

"I will love her until I die."

The feeling of handing over the person you love the most to your rival is unpleasant. But Vincent had no choice. Azura's health was restored. She will return here with him. She will share a room with him, but he can't take care of her.
