Childhood friend

The guy in the car that knocks Chantel down with his car gets down from the car and he looks into her eyes and he turns out to be Chantel’s childhood friend Henry. Chantel was Henry first love when there were child. He has been searching for her for a very long time and now he found her and he rushes her to the hospital and he was nervous maybe something bad has happened to her the doctor walks out of the ward and Henry ran to him.

“ Doctor! Please tell me. How is Chantel doing?” He ask and he curious to know about her condition.

“ She is fine and he babies are fine also” the doctor says and Henry was not happy because he thought that Chantel is already married.

“ Ehnm…Can I see her doctor?” He ask and can’t wait to set his eyes on her again.

“ Yes, you can see her now, she is already awake now” the doctor says and he left and Henry walks into the ward and he smiled and Chantel wonders who he is.

“ Chantel!” He says and Chantel wonders how he knows her name.

“ Who are you?” She ask in very soft tone and Henry look into her eyes and he walks closer to her in the sick bed and he sit beside her.

“ I know you must be wondering how I know you right? You might have forgotten about me but I will never forget about Chantel” he says and Chantel still can’t understand him.

“ Why are so emotional?” She ask and Henry looks at her belly and Chantel notice and she also looks at her belly and she felt ashamed.

“ I have been searching for since I came back from the U.K but your stepmother told me that you ran away from home, I know but now you supposed should have known me” he says and Chantel remembered that he is her childhood friend Henry.

“ Henry!” She called his name softly and tears drop from her eyes.

“ Yes, is me Henry” he says and Chantel could hold her emotions and tears continue to drop and sue hugs him tight.

“ I search for you everywhere but it’s seems I lost already and I met you at the wrong time, I think it’s to late” he says and Chantel is already overwhelmed with guilt because she does not know the father of her children Is.

“ Tell me what happened? Why were you running?” He ask and Chantel looks into his eyes.

“ Do you want me to call your husbandYou can give me his phone number so you can know where you are” he says and Henry brings out his cellphone and Chantel stop him.

“ You do not need to do that” she says and Henry wonders why.

“ But why?” He ask and tears continue to drop from her eyes.

“ I am not married and neither I have a boyfriend or anyone to run to right now” she says and Henry wonders what she meant.

“ How do you mean?” He ask and Chantel is ashamed of saying what happened.

“ I don’t know how I got pregnant, I don’t know who the father of my children is” she says and He eu wonders children.

“ Children?” He ask in shocked.

“ Yes Children. The doctor confirmed that I will be giving birth to twins, a boy and a girl” she says.

“ But how come you don’t know that father of your children?” He ask and Chantel looked in to his eyes.

“ I was working in the Smith’s house as a maid” she says and Henry gets shocked.

“ How come? Your dad is a very influential person and everyone knows that. Why will you be working as maid?” He ask and Chantel cleans her tears but she still have tears drop down her eyes because she overwhelmed.

“ I was chase out of the house by stepmom and she lied to my dad that I left home, she lied to him that I ran away from home with a guy” she says and she weep.

“ Why didn’t you explain to your dad that your stepmom sent you out of the house?” He ask.

“ I couldn’t tell him because my stepmother threatened to hurt me and also hurt my dad if I tried to come back home so I had to stay back in the street” she says and Henry brings out wiper for her to clean her tears, she cleans her tears.

“ What about Claire your stepsister?” She ask.

“ Claire was taking to Canada after you left but I am not sure if she is back or not because I tried to go back to the house where we should lived but I discovered that my dad and stepmom also move to Canada so I don’t think Claire will come back to the country” she said without knowing that ex boss Claire is still same stepsister she is talking about.

“ Are you sure your dad will leave the U.S after all what he has walks for and do you think he will ever forget about you” he says and Chantel thought about what Henry said.

“ I don’t know what to believe” she says.

“ What if your stepmother cook up all this stories for people so you will never find them again?” He says and Chantel thought about it.

“ You are right about that, but I don’t how to find them” she says and Henry stared at her and he hold her hand.

“ I will help you find your family again, especially your father, I will make you reunite with him” he says and Chantel smiled and she gets happy.

“ Thank you so much Henry” she says.

“ Why did you ran away from the Smith family?” He ask.

“ I noticed that they were only nice to me because they wanted my babies so that is why I ran away from them and that was how I I got knocked down with your car. Please I just want you to help me. Can I stay in your image for a while?” She ask and Henry have pity on her.

“ Yes, you can stay in my place for as long you want till you get back to feet but I promise I will always be there for you and I will always have your back and I will protect you ni matter what” he says and Chantel hugs him.

“ Thank you so much Henry, I don’t know what I will do without you” she says and Henry hugs her tight and the nurse entered and she checked her temperature and etc and she is ok.

“ When will she be discharged?” He ask the nurse.

“ She will be discharged today sir but please she should be more careful next time because of her condition” the nurses says and she left.
