Skyler drew her into his arms and hugged her." I will never leave you, okay." He said and kissed her on the bed. Clara felt the warmth from his embrace and sighed. She felt safe with him around and she wanted to stay like this forever but it was impossible. He released her from his arms and Clara sat straight on the bed.

"Liam, how is he?" She asked.

"He's recovering very fast, you don't have to worry. Landon's funeral will be held in two days" he said.

Clara nodded. Earlier, Skyler had told her that Liam's brother had died while trying to save her from the rogues and even though she felt grateful and indebted to Liam, it didn't stop the guilt from eating at her. She was the reason Liam had lost someone dear to him. She raised her head to look at Skyler who was equally looking at her.

"I have decided to go back to the wailing faeries," she said.
