With no books aside from the one I'd already exhausted yesterday. No TV, no gym, no Dojo, and nowhere to go, I wondered what I was going to do to occupy my time while Hollis was away.

That was all I remembered until I woke up feeling totally numb and heavy. I struggled to turn my body on its side, everything was numbed.
