After eating Sergio suggested that they take a walk around town, so they left the library and drove towards their usual spot by the park. They parked the car behind the big oak tree that was growing near it. It was already dark out, and they had just finished enjoying dinner, so they decided to take advantage of the fact that they had plenty of time to explore the park before it started getting dark. They stood under the shade of the large tree and started strolling around leisurely. They spent most of the time just talking. About everything and anything that crossed their minds. At first Sergio was telling Irish everything about himself. About his family, his friends and his work life. But after about fifteen minutes, she began asking questions about him instead. The two of them discussed everything from favourite food to favorite tv show. All of a sudden they stopped walking and turned around, facing the path that lead towards the bench where they had sat down earlier that day."H
The next morning Irish woke up to Sergio still sleeping. She slowly untangled herself from his arms and made her way to the bathroom to wash up. After that she went into his bedroom to wake him up. She shook him slightly and whispered his name several times, but all he did was mumble incoherently. Eventually she gave up and decided to go to her own room. However as soon as she turned her back on him he grabbed her arm and pulled her down onto the bed next to him."I hate you," she mumbled angrily and tried to roll over, but Sergio wrapped his arms around her and pulled her against his chest."Why?" He asked. "You love me.""Yes, but you also make me feel horrible. How come you only ever hug me when we're kissing or holding hands? You always hug me whenever we cuddle and it drives me crazy. I wish you could stop being so possessive and just cuddle with me whenever you want.""Baby, I am always going to be possessive of you, but sometimes it's for good reasons," he said softly, cupping
A soft smile crossed his lips as he watched her sleep peacefully. If he didn't feel something for her before he definitely did now. When she was awake he could feel the happiness radiating off of her. Whenever he saw her smile he was reminded of how beautiful she looked. There was no denying that he had fallen for Irish completely. And after spending some time with her he realized that he could never stop loving her. No matter what happened between him and his mother, he would always love her. He knew she meant too much to him to give her up. Sergio didn't know how long he was lying beside Irish sleeping, but eventually the sunlight began to creep through their window and hit his face. Reluctantly he opened his eyes and gazed at his beautiful wife who was still snuggled up next to him. A soft sigh escaped his mouth as he slowly reached out and started running his fingers through her hair, enjoying the way it felt under his hands. Once he finished playing with her hair he reached ov
"Hey, what are you doing? Are you crying? I didn't mean to upset you." Alina asked concerned."No...no, I'm fine." Sergio responded, wiping away a stray tear that had escaped his eye."Are you sure? Because it doesn't seem like it."Sergio laughed quietly. He knew Alina was right. Although he hadn't cried in years, his emotions seemed to be getting out of control lately. He guessed that the stress that he was going through was starting to catch up with him. It wasn't easy being so close to your wife and still being so far apart. It didn't bother him though, because at this point he wasn't planning on giving her up anytime soon. He wouldn't even dream of doing that. If he could help it he'd spend every single second that he could with her. That was the plan anyway, since he knew that if he tried to stay away from her she'd probably try to convince him to come back home with her. But no matter how much he hated being apart from her it didn't feel right for them to break apart. Their
After making out for a few minutes longer they decided to call it a day. As they exited the pool they were greeted by an exhausted looking Sergio. Irish giggled when she realized that she had gotten under his skin and managed to wear him out."Didn't expect you to pull a prank on me, eh?""Of course not." She replied sarcastically. She then proceeded to stand in front of him and wrap her arms around his neck. He wrapped his arms around her torso and lifted her up so that she could straddle his lap."Now are you feeling better?""Yup!"She flashed him a bright smile."We should get back to our room now. We've still got work tomorrow.""Yeah, I guess you're right."Sergio stood up from his position and picked up Irish from his lap. She wrapped her arms tightly around his shoulders and buried her face into his neck as they walked. Once they arrived at their bedroom he laid her down on the bed before crawling on top of her. She stared up at him confusedly as he leaned down. His lips met
"Good morning."He grinned and scooted closer to her. Irish immediately sat up and wrapped her arms around him."What do you want for breakfast?" He asked."Nothing yet, I'm still sleepy." She said with a chuckle as she buried her face against his shoulder."You're adorable." He responded with a grin. She rolled her eyes playfully as she nuzzled her cheek against his chest. He then pulled away from her and stood up."Come on, it's nearly time to leave for the airport."Irish groaned slightly as she pulled her covers over her head."I know, but I really wanna sleep some more. Can we skip today?""Oh come on Irish. We're supposed to meet your sister and brother for lunch today.""They can wait a few hours.""But what about your family? They're going to be waiting for you to arrive."She sighed heavily before pulling the blankets off her head."Fine, I'll go shower and change clothes."He quickly pecked her lips before hurrying out of the bedroom. Irish quickly jumped out of bed and ran
Then that's their problem not yours. Why should you care?"Sergio sighed deeply."Maybe I should. It's not everyday that you marry someone and have their child. It can be kind of overwhelming, you know?""Yeah, I completely understand."Just then Sergio's phone vibrated. He immediately glanced down at the screen, reading the notification that had popped up."Looks like our flight leaves in forty five minutes, so we might as well start getting ready."A few moments later Sergio finished texting his father and got out of his chair. Irish followed suit and grabbed her bag. She slowly followed him out of the airport and to their hotel suite which was located just a couple blocks away from the airport. As they walked, she couldn't help but admire the view. Her eyes drifted every now and then to Sergio as he walked beside her. Even though they were married, he still amazed her every day. Whenever he would walk past a flower or plant she thought it was the cutest thing ever. Even though sh
Once they drove off into the streets they began heading towards Sergio's parents's home. As they approached the neighbourhood Irish noticed some of Sergio's relatives starting to arrive. Some of them stopped their conversations and stared out onto the road as Sergio passed them by. Some simply nodded their heads, others shouted greetings to them.As they pulled up in front of the house Irish got out of the car, grabbed her suitcase and locked it. Sergio joined her outside and the three of them made their way through the gate to the front door."Welcome to the house!" Sergio's mom called out happily as she appeared."Hi mom," Sergio responded. He placed his suitcase against the wall in the hallway before turning his attention back to Irish. She took a deep breath and stepped forward to hug him."Hey," she whispered quietly. He squeezed her tightly."This is your new life Mrs. Sergio Maxwell.""And it seems like yours too. You've grown so much since we last saw each other. You look so
