Already forgotten about us

A warm feeling spreads through my body as I smile happily at him. That's the first time he's ever said something nice to me. I mean he usually just complains about me being difficult or annoying.

But I guess he must have been feeling sorry for me because I know that he doesn't normally say such nice things to me. Not that I mind.

In fact I like hearing nice things from him. I lean forward and kiss him on his lips softly. His hands move to the sides of my face and hold onto them gently. After a few seconds I break apart and look down at his lap nervously.

"Why don't we go outside?" he suggests.

I nod my head and we stand up from the table and head outside. I wrap my jacket tightly around myself and take a deep breath. I can smell the ocean in the air and it's refreshing.

We walk over to a bench which was placed by the beach and sit down. The waves crash into each other violently as they crash into the shore. The wind blows past us making us shiver a little.
