Summer’s POV

The alarm went off at 6am. I managed to sleep for an hour or so. It might have been more if both twins had been here, but I challenged Zane and he was pretty thorough in meeting that challenge last night. I felt like I was doing a John Wayne walk on my way to the shower.

Trying not to wake Zane up, I quickly dashed into the shower. If I don't scrub the scent of him off me, I'll smell like sex all day. Which is fine if I am locked up in his bedroom, but not when I am expected to face my family and they have a good sense of smell. I put on shorts and a sports bra, then braided my long brown hair down my back before leaving. As I was leaving the pack house, I swung gave the kitchen, where Mary gave me a bacon sandwich and coffee. “You are a lifesaver, Mary. Thank you,” I told her.

She just gave me a warm smile and a kiss on the head. Glancing at my watch, I realized it was nearly 6:27 and I only had three minutes to get to the training field. I'm sure I can make it.

I shoved the last piece of my sandwich into my mouth as I was running to the training field. I made it with a few seconds to spare. That calls for a victory dance.

When I saw my siblings, I quickly ran over to them. I am so happy to see them. I often spar with other warriors, but often, they are worried about hurting me. I think it is because I am sleeping with the Alpha’s sons. I think they take it easy during training, but that’s not what I need. In a true battle, my enemies wouldn’t go easy on me.

There is also nothing like fighting your siblings, though. There are no rules, they don’t hold back. We know each other’s weaknesses. They always give me a hard time no matter what, and they wouldn't want to be beaten by their little sister. They are the ones I truly learn from.

It's often a challenging fight. Taking part is hard work and we often end up with an audience. Someone once took bets on who would win. My odds were never great, as I have never actually beaten any of them, but one day I will.

I slammed my shoulder into my oldest brother as I walked past. He is the most protective of me. I am the baby of the family, after all. He grabs me, pulling me into a hug. He's much taller than me and lifts my feet off the ground. He has a huge grin on his face as he lets me go. “Is it your turn to beat us Summer,” he asks.

Not sure Rayne, but I will give it my best shot.” We smile at each other while my other siblings hug me. My sister Autumn reminds us why we are there, and we get started.

It’s good to be home. As a part of the Forest Green Pack, I am known as Summer- a member of a loving family who is both fearless and independent. In medical school, I am known as Summer - the studious loner who works extra shifts at the hospital and never goes to parties.

It’s like I live two different lives. I guess I do. But soon, I will be home.

We take our positions. Mom and dad both watching from the sidelines. It’s the first time I have seen them since I have been home. I give them a wave, acknowledging their presence.

The fight starts and carries on and carries on, each of us having our own unique fighting skills. Eventually, Autumn needs to pee, so she steps out. It’s just me and my two brothers now. While they are fighting, I sneak behind Gale and take his knees out from behind him. Rayne gives him a punch, which knocks the wind out of him. “That’s cheating,” he yells at both of us when he can speak. He's annoyed that he got knocked out before me.

“No, that’s teamwork. Wolves often fight together.” Rayne says while laughing at him.

That leaves just me and Rayne now. Rayne is strong and bulky, whereas I am small and nimble. He runs towards me, and I slide underneath his arm as he tries to grab me. I jumped on his back, wrapping my legs around his waist. I put my arm around his neck in a choke hold. Even though I can hardly reach around his neck, I still try it.

When he falls, he lands on top of me, squishing me between his body and the floor. I tap out as I am struggling to breathe, and I am sure he just cracked one of my ribs.

He gets up off me, reaching down, pulling me up. “Today is not your lucky day, sis. Maybe next time.” I grasp my knees as I try to take deep breaths. He is such a big man. I shouldn’t try that maneuver again; I mentally told myself.

When I straighten up, Autumn pulls me in for a hug. When she lets go, Gale is right there getting one too. It’s a little painful, but worth it, Alexis will sort out any injuries I have. I love my family.

I look around and there are people watching our interactions. I was always curious why people looked at us strangely, but then again, I saw no other family training together. They usually avoided their families during training. But not us. We make each other stronger. That is what dad always wanted.

We all agreed to meet at mom and dad’s house for dinner later, seeing that we were going to go for a sibling run. Our wolves are as close as we are and love the opportunity to spend some time with their siblings. We all walk to the woods, strip and shift into our wolves.

Alexis is a beautiful wolf with white fur over most of her body, but with a black patch on her chest and paws. She is also quite large for a female wolf, but I put that down to dad’s Gamma genes. Everyone tells me how unique she is. My usual response is that we are both unique while thanking them for their compliment.

We ran for hours before settling down near a stream, where we all played in the water, fought and best of all, just relaxed together. No way could we do this as humans. We wouldn't have the time to get here.

We get back to the edge of the forest, just before it gets dark, we all shift and get dressed. I jumped on Gale’s back for a ride. They are all much bigger than me, but the lads are strong and can easily carry me just like they did when we were kids. We laugh and joke while we make our way to mom and dad's place. They sent us upstairs to get cleaned up. I am dressed in shirt and trousers that I found in my old bedroom. It’s great being back home, even if I am not staying here tonight.

The food mom has cooked is fabulous. I eat nothing but junk when I am at school. Rayne informed me he got accepted to join the royal guard and he would be leaving for the palace soon.

Autumn lets me know she is now doing the pack accounting. Taking up some of dad’s Gamma duties as he starts to retire. Reminding me that Zane and Blake will take over as Alpha’s next year and they will have their own Gamma.

Gale has just taken over as head warrior for the pack. He has a grin from ear to ear. What an exciting opportunity for him. Then there is me, who is taking my final exams in a few months. That doctor’s title is practically within my reach.

I don’t exactly fit in with the pack life right now as I have chosen a career which requires training from humans. Right now, I have chosen a career that is not as impressive as others, but it is my dream and I am pursuing it.

Mom and dad give a big speech about how proud they are of all of us and what amazing children we have been. Dad closes with, “don’t forget if you remain unmated by the Blue Moon in a few months. I will expect you to attend the Representative’s Meeting.” Autumn scoffs. “You mean the cattle market?” Dad scowls at her before reminding her she is the daughter of Gamma. It is her duty to represent him.

I had never been to the Representative’s Meeting during the Blue Moon, the first time I was at school and had exams. Alpha Stan understood and excused me. But this time they would expect me to go.

From what I have been told, our wolves are dormant for a few days, leading up to the Blue Moon. So, we can mingle and enjoy our human selves, make friends, network and have a good time. But they invite only the unmated children of senior pack members.

On the morning after the Blue Moon, our wolf’s returns, as do any shows of dominance, rivalries and potential mate bonds.

Autumn and I used to make fun of the ‘Representative’s Meetings’. From what we heard, it was like a cattle market when the prize cow was brought in for auction. The prettier girls got the most attention and formed the most alliances. Even though they may have the brain span of a gnat. But hey, if you looked the part.

As we all said our goodbyes, I headed to the pack house. I require some help in relieving myself, and I know someone who is eager to assist me.

So glad she’s mature and realistic when it comes to the twins finding their mates. They grew up knowing about the mate bond after all so I hate it when any she wolf or he wolf get upset when their lover finds their mate

  • The Azure Moon Series - Complete Collection   Chapter 3

Summer’s POV The moment I enter his room, he slams me against the door. His mouth is on mine, and he is kissing me passionately. He pins both of my hands above my head with his large hand. His other hand moves over my chest and starts to explore under my top, squeezing my breasts and teasing my nipples. The feeling is so pleasurable, I can't help but moan. My hands are released and my shirt is ripped open, buttons flying across the room. He's caressing both my breasts and kissing me at the same time. I grabbed his hair and pulled his mouth closer to mine. He tastes so good. He drops to his knees, my hands still in his hair and puts one of my breasts in his mouth, sucking and licking my nipple, taking each breast in turn. I feel him pulling my trousers down as he works his magic on my breasts. He pulls his mouth away from my breasts, replacing them with his hands as he kisses his way down my abdomen towards my clit. He goes wild when I lift my leg over his shoulder and sta

Summer’s POV When I wake up, I'm covered in sweat. Trying to untangle myself from a sheet that is wrapped around me. I only have a few more days left here at the Forest Green Pack. My final exams are coming up, and I need to return to school. I looked over and saw a sleeping, Zane. Do I sneak out again? Of course, I do. I really enjoyed my punishment. I managed to get showered, dressed, and brush my hair and teeth. He was completely still, not even stirring. He must be exhausted. It’s like a case of déjà vu as I shower and run downstairs for breakfast. Mary feeds me, again telling me I should slow down. I laugh. “I will slow down when I get old, like 40 or something.” That earns me a smack around the head. I am guessing because she is over 40. But she is laughing. “I thought the same when I was your age, but I blinked and am nearly 50.” After training today, I wanted to have a wander over to the hospital. I should hopefully work there in a few months and wan

Summer’s POV It's been 4 months since I've been home but taking my final exam last week was a relief. I agreed to meet Autumn at the ‘Representative’s Meeting’ as it was on my way home. My brothers can’t attend this year. Rayne has taken up his new post as part of the royal guard. Gale has been told he has to work. He has become one of the new head warrior, and he is needed to train the new warriors. I have sent most of my belongings home already and just have one suitcase left with my essentials in it. Autumn is bringing my evening wear with her as well as anything else I need for the ‘Representative’s Meeting’. Autumn is less than impressed at having to go. She has been working nonstop since taking over all the pack’s accounting. She tells me it’s a mess. “Dad is a better fighter than accountant.” She told me on the phone. The Blue Moon only appears every 2-3 years. Leading up to it, our wolves go dormant, and we are practically human. It’s weird being without Alexis, bu

Summer’s POV I waited for the elevator to go to my room. Once it arrives, there is a crowd of people getting out. They all rush past me and I walk in. I find it strange, though. One man who had just gotten out turned around and walked back in. I noticed that he was sporting a black suit, which struck me as being quite formal for that time of day. He wore it well. Very well. He must be one of the sexiest men I have seen here. In fact, he is probably one of the sexiest men I have ever seen in my life. Around 6 feet 4, tanned, short dark hair, blue eyes. His gaze is fixed on me as he moves towards me. He pushed the ‘door close’ button. Two more steps and he has a clump of my hair in his hand, tilting my head to the side, sniffing my neck. He started to kiss my neck. I wanted to shout or scream at him. I haven’t given him permission to touch me. But his kisses are electric, rough yet soft. My pleasure is so intense that all I can do is moan. I feel weak at the knees as he carr

Summer's POV I wrapped a sheet around myself. I am not ashamed of my body, but I don’t know who is out there. In fact, I don’t know the man in here either! But he is hot as hell and knows his way around my body. He was still sleeping as I walked out of the room. It takes everything in my power not to swat his firm butt. But I do need that drink. I walked to the kitchen area, finding a glass on the side. I rinse it out and pour myself a glass of water as I am taking a big drink. I heard the elevator ping from behind me. I just carried on drinking, I heard footsteps approaching. No one actually knows where I am right now, but I guess that is what happens when you have a random, sudden hook up. I lowered my glass, glancing over my shoulder to see a man staring at me. His jaw is open, and his fists are clenched. I spin all the way around holding onto my sheet. I smiled at him, “Hi” I say. He doesn’t say anything, he just stares at me. I must have taken a long blink, for one secon

  • The Azure Moon Series - Complete Collection   Chapter 8

Summer’s POV By morning, I felt thoroughly fucked and I may need a vagina transplant, especially as they both fucked me in it at the same time. I had never gone that far before, but it felt right and amazing at the time. I was sticky though, a combination of my sweat, their sweat and both of our juices. But I felt disgusting, for the right reasons though. My body ached, all of it, even my hair ached. This will be a night to remember for a very long time. I look to my left and see a sexy as hell hunky man, with dark hair, tanned skin and muscles everywhere. When I look to my right, I see his twin who is just as sexy, but with a small scar above his eyebrow, probably unnoticeable if I hadn’t of been that close. But I do need to get out of here! I weighed up my options. I can climb over one of them, which will probably wake them up, or I can shimmy down the bed. I should get out quickly and quietly, but that has never been my style. I can be a little dramatic at times. I sit up a

  • The Azure Moon Series - Complete Collection   Chapter 9

Summer’s POV I pull up to my mom and dad’s house but it’s quiet, the whole street is quiet, it’s like a scene from a horror movie quiet. I read a text from Autumn. ‘We are at the packhouse, GET HERE.’ I drive as fast as I can when I pull up behind a crowd. Something serious is going on. I got out and started pushing my way through the crowd. On the stage is Carly, with Zane and Blake behind her. She is challenging Alpha Stan as to why he won’t hand over the pack to Zane and Blake. Alpha Stan and Luna Susan, look as dignified as always. Telling her that this decision is not hers or the twins to make, it is his. She was throwing a tantrum right there on the stage. If she does and attacks Alpha Stan, it will be an act of attempted murder and her punishment is banishment. I doubt she is that stupid, she knows the law. She is an Alpha’s daughter, maybe she should act like one. She is angry though, yelling that in her old pack things would be done like this and like that, this

  • The Azure Moon Series - Complete Collection   Chapter 10

Summer’s POV I entered Alpha Stan’s office accompanied by my dad, mom, Autumn and Gale. Luna Susan is with Alpha Stan, trying to calm him down. He must be fuming. He looked at us all as we took a seat on his couch. “Summer, I want you to know that I love you like a daughter. You have grown up to be a beautiful, respectful young woman. You respect your family, your pack and me.” I nodded at him, not knowing where this was going. “I don’t know exactly what Carly’s agenda is, but she has one. Which is why I am refusing to hand the pack over to the boys. I know precisely why you did what you did, and honestly, I wish I could have done it myself. But I won’t risk my relationship with my sons.” I feel proud of myself at this point. But I can’t help but feel something else is coming. “But Carly is the Alpha’s daughter from the Blood Moon Pack. I have spoken to Carly’s father in the past. He is an appalling man who has made several threats in the event of any harm coming to his daugh

Charlie’s POV “What are we going to do, Jacob? How did we end up losing track of so much time? Darcey is going to kill me.” “Don’t worry too much. Darcey will be at home, tucked up in bed. She won’t even notice you were gone.” Is he serious? Darcey will know. We’re trying for a baby, and she is demanding sex every night. Not just a quick session either! The past week she has been hornier than ever, and I have been running on fumes. She will know I’m not there. I knew it was a mistake. Letting our wolves go for a run before the blue moon. But Jacob insisted. He convinced me I had been stressed lately. That I needed to let off some steam. Now I was going to be in a bucket full of crap. Thanks Jacob, I think to myself. Our wolves took over, blocking us out. They only let us have our bodies back because they became dormant. Now here we are standing here bollock naked in the middle of nowhere, miles from home. “It’s going to take ages to get back.” “It’s going to take you ages.

Stephanie’s POV “Steff. How are you feeling?” A voice asked me. “Horrible. My head hurts so much.” Am I speaking to someone in my mind? Whoever it is laughing at me. Did I actually die? I can’t have died. I would be back in the wolf realm. From the smells in this place, I am definitely not there. In fact, one smell is so very good, like delicious. I can’t put my finger on it, but it is mouth watering. “That’s our mate.” The voice says again. “I don’t have a mate. I don’t have a wolf.” “You do now. Selene sent me to you.” I slowly figured out that’s who I was talking to me. “There’s so much you need to know, Steff. Or is it Annie or Stephanie?” “No, no, no.” I’m so confused. “What I need to know is which wolf Selene sent me?” Whoever she is shakes herself and stands proud. She then pounds her feet. How do I know what she is doing? “Selene sent me to you. She said, I am to look after you. Ensure you get life-long happiness and joy. The love you deserve.” “Fine,

Hecate’s POV “An opportunity has risen. You’re the perfect choice for the role.” I tell the couple that have been living an isolated life. They both look at me. “Selene needs to give a wolf less soul, the powers of the blue moon goddess. Only someone who is willing can accept the powers. It would mean you would have to live in the wolf realm. With him forever.” I said, gesturing towards her mate. “I can live here with him forever.” She responds. “You can live there forever and oversee your children and grandchildren. You can be with their wolves for all eternity.” I now have the attention of them both. “Can I visit them?” She asks curiously. “Occasionally,” I tell her. I know Selene will restrict visits, especially after Steff burned through her last body so fast. “I also want to negotiate with Selene about you overseeing any hybrids. They need support and guidance. Given your experience in this field, I thought it would be fitting.” She looks at me, then at the wolf at her side.

Tripp’s POV “You are a goddam idiot. You just walked away from her. I thought you said you wouldn’t be rejecting her, no matter what?” I said snappily to Elliot. Still not quite believing he walked away from our mate. He walked away and shifted. “I won’t be rejecting her. It’s just a lot to take in. I needed to process everything she told me. She has lived so many lives, knows everything about us. Not to mention she is in our mate’s body. That’s just weird.” “You couldn’t have told her that?” I roared at him angrily. I have been Elliot’s wolf for a long time and that by far is the stupidest thing he has ever done. “Steff’s body was dying because of her frequent visits to earth, to save your family. Annie’s soul was gone, her body was dying. Why can’t she have a life? She has helped so many over the years and is a good friend to all of us wolves.” I said now, trying to reason with the fool. “Do you know her?” Elliot asked me. “Yes. She lives in the wolf realm most of the time with

Elliot’s POV After my graduation, Dad decided to stop at Blackwood farm on his way home to the palace. Dad wanted to visit his mom’s grave. During my studies, I visited Blackwood farm many times. It was so quiet and away from the busyness of the school. It was a great place to study and Tripp, my wolf, loved being surrounded by nature. Dad visited whenever he came to see me. But he always got upset. This will be the last time he will visit Blackwood Farm for quite a while. I expect him to be worse today. I drove back in the early hours of the morning. I know Elizabeth and I have agreed I will start on Monday. But I am so excited. She is looking forward to some time off. My great aunt Elizabeth has been a great mentor since I started my training. I know my grandma has been as well, but she doesn’t practice anymore. Even though I am a few days early, she hands me my white coat. It feels so official putting it on. I can’t stop smiling as she gives me the tour o

Stephanie’s POV “Come on Stephanie. We’re going to be late.” Charlie calls out to me. I know he wants to get to work early today. But, of course, on the day I am supposed to be ready early. Everything goes wrong and I am running late. Darcey gave Charlie a chance. I am thrilled she did. Knowing what he overcame puts my heart at rest that they will take care of each other forever. Since then, Charlie has become a valued member of the kingdom. Proving to Darcey and everyone else that he is a worthy mate for her. She made him work for it, though. Part of the agreement between them was that he didn’t join the royal guard. He agreed not only because Darcey asked him not to, but because he knew Addie and Avery would make his life hell. They still hold a grudge because of his actions and the emotional suffering they caused her. Instead, Charlie got a job teaching the kids in the kingdom’s school. He also organizes regular camping trips for older children and aids with a program to

Steff’s POV I look at both of Annie’s parents. They look lost. “Will you keep her name?” “I would prefer to keep my own name.” Her mom looked like she was about to cry again. “How about a compromise? Combine the two. How does Stephanie sound?” She nods her head, composing herself. “Why is Hecate coming?” Annie’s father asks. “Annie’s body will need to be strengthened to house my soul. It won’t hurt Annie. I assure you.” Her father’s body seemed to sag with relief. “After the soul transfer. I will stay for a while. Let you say really say goodbye to her.” I don’t think they know what to say to that. But they will when the time comes. “No one is to know about this. It has never happened in the past.” I told them both. Just before Hecate appeared. Her appearance can be alarming if you’re not used to seeing her. Hecate has dark hair and dark eyes. For supernatural occasions, which this is, Hecate wears dark clothes and a spiked headpiece. She looks like an evi

Darcey’s POV When I woke up, all I wanted to do was find Charlie. The images in the lake still broke my heart. But what I needed more than anything was a drink. Elizabeth had been hydrating my body with some intravenous fluids, but my throat was as dry as a desert. Then people started fussing over me. “Take it easy was Caren’s advice.” Esme assured Caren I would. Then she promised to stay by my side until I made a full recovery. “Ayla, you had better make this a swift recovery.” I told her. Although I love my sister, spending a lot of time with her could be challenging. In fact, I am not sure we would be friends if we weren’t sisters. We are that different. But we are always there for one another. I know Charlie isn’t going anywhere. Goddess Selene’s POV “You said we had more time.” Annie’s mom questions me. I want to remind her I am a goddess. But I really want Steff to have Annie’s body. “You do. I can now answer your questions.” I explained to Annie’s parents. Steff steps forward. “I am the blue moon goddess. I take care of the wolves in Selene’s realm during the blue moon and the eclipse. Your wolves know me well. The rest of the time, I am Selene’s companion. In my youth, my physical body hurt so badly it died. I now require a host body, a vessel to house my soul. Selene says you are considering letting me use your daughter’s body?” “Yes,” Annie’s father says proudly. “It would be an honor.” “I just want to know she will be cared for.” Her mom cried. “I have taken care of many bodies over my long life. Your daughter will be no different.” Her mom cries again but nods her head, implying her consent. “Steff, will you remain with them until Hecate arrives? I have business elsewh
