Lizelle's Point of View

Before I fainted, I heard the monitor's beeping noise and flashing color. They slowly lay me down and injected something before my eyelids slowly fell off. Tyron was the last person I saw, standing in a corner with a serious yet somewhat worried face.

I woke up in a white room. I could see nothing but white around me.

'Where am I?'

'How many hours of sleep have I had?'

When I arose from my slumber, the thing I tread on was likewise white and fluffy. I paid close attention to where someone was laughing.

I approached carefully at first since I couldn't see their faces. As I arrived, I saw two people chuckling. One of them was wearing a white dress and a white flower crown, while the man dressed all in white. When they spotted me, they both stopped and smiled.

My eyes widened as I realized who those are.

"Mom! Dad!" I ran to hug them and cried. "Mom! Dad! Let's go home!"

I didn't remove the embrace from them. Nevertheless, it gradually surprised me when the surrounding became dark.

Out of surprise, I let go of the hug to look at them... but I only pushed them away when I discovered their burnt faces and bloody bodies. I sat up and crawled backward when they slowly approached me.

"No! Stooop!"

I woke up while recovering my breath.

When I opened my eyes, I noticed a white ceiling; I wasn't sure if it was real, so I was about to turn around and stand up when I suddenly felt excruciating pain on my body and face.

"Agh...! It burns!"

My face appeared to be ripped apart as my body was stabbed with a knife. I was already in tears when a voice spoke to my side.

"You've been asleep for two and a half days. You're probably not used to the painful needles being injected into you. Only the hose feeds you for two days."

It's Tyron.

I would have attempted to respond, but I couldn't open my mouth, so only "Ah" came out. He realized I might want to speak out, so he offered me a pen and paper.

He was perhaps asking me to write about what I wanted to say.

"You are welcome to remain for up to a month. Don't worry; the soreness will lessen with each passing day." He got to his feet and moved before me so I could see him.

While they placed the bandage around my face, I could feel the oversized medical cloth wrapped around my chest. My face made me feel better, as did the severe torment in my chest. Because I lacked strength, I wrote on paper and gently pushed it on him.

"What are our next steps following this? Why does it take a month to plan?" That was what it said on the paper. As he stood, he read it with his eyes.

"Just rest first. After a week, you'll return to your condo. I'll introduce Lorenzo Lewis." He handed me the paper and pen again, but I had nothing further to say.

Lorenzo Lewis… Although I wanted to ask who it was, I kept myself silent.

The days flew by since Tyron was the only one who looked after me; even after I returned home from the condo, he would always come back. Sometimes he slept in my living room to help me. The discomfort was virtually gone two weeks later, and he revealed who Lorenzo Lewis was.

I was surprised to see two whiteboards with wheels. Tyron placed it in my room to make it appear like we were investigators and assassins who needed to murder someone. Lorenzo, his parents, and his brothers' information was on the whiteboard, plus their faces.

Lorenzo's accomplishments as CEO of Mètier Group were also there.

"Lorenzo built the second building in New York, the Mètier Group. He was known as the second business tycoon. He had many achievements because he can sell his business partners— that's where he got his power. After two years, he started building construction business in Barcelona." He now pointed to the picture of my parents. "He was one of the primary suspects because your parents refused him to be a business partner."

My forehead furrowed. "Wait, what? Isn't his focus on construction? Why was even our sugarcane plant affected?"

"You're mistaken. He isn't interested in your sugarcane. He intends to steal your Madrid property that he wishes to purchase to construct his new building." He pointed to the photographs.

"We have no land in Madrid…"

"That's what you know. With the number of resources you have, do you think that your parents only make a living from sugarcane?" He crossed his arms and leaned against the wall.

"But everything you own is currently on hold in court. Lorenzo propagated the rumor that everything you had was stolen, and they likewise acquitted him since he stated he wasn't guilty." That was the last thing he said before he ripped the photos off.

I gripped my fist as I gritted my teeth. I was foolish for being naive. Millions of emotions lurk in my heart, but I couldn't find a way to show them. The rage, madness, and sadness…

"You want vengeance, I'll give you my support."

I stared at him while the anger still lingered in my eyes. I didn't know how to bring Lorenzo down, honestly. I had no money to use.

"You may take off the bandage on your face next week." He erased what was written on the whiteboard, and something about what he scribbled before he spoke made me grin.

"And to our plan...."

Of course, everyone is welcome. They also encouraged people to pitch in. Individuals who wish to support and give to those people who want to live longer,” The emcee announced. I was at the charity conference where Tyron intended to implement the first plan. He directed me here since this was supposed to be Lorenzo’s focus this year, assisting cancer patients so that more people could support him. Tyron suggested that to gain Lorenzo’s attention and become close to him; we should compete with what he had—to what he wanted. It had been a month since they operated on my face. I think nothing has changed. The first point to mention was the eyes; they just layered my eyelids. To look more mature, they made my lower lip thick. They slightly pointed at the nose while the cheekbone was enlarged. Only my hair ch

Lizelle's Point of View When the Charity Event concluded, I pretended to be someone with a true heart who wanted to support cancer patients who wanted to live longer. I wanted to assist people, but I didn't want to deceive myself because that was not why I came here in the first place. Many corporate leaders approached me after the event. They inquired about my business. I didn't answer them about it and pretended to be a model, wishing to help those in genuine need. I stayed there as they eventually returned home. I had no idea what to do next because Tyron and I had not discussed what to do when the event ended. I was unsure what his orders were because so many people came up to me, but it didn't seem that disastrous that he didn't give me any instructions because the "rice was reaching the chicken." The chicken would sit there and wait for the rice so it could peck. While I pretended to be busy, Lorenzo approached me. I was ready to walk away when he grabbed my hand and dragged

Lizelle's Point of ViewMy feet quickly reverted to their previous position. I dashed over to his back and examined the tablet he was strolling with his hands. I snatched it from him when I saw Lorenzo's name on one of the calendar numbers. I immediately grinned. He yanked it from my grasp and pointed to the electric stove. There was also a gas stove, but I might use the electric stove as we were the only two people in the house.I pretended to chuckle at him before walking away and picking up the frying fan. That was something I was thinking about right now. "Hehe. Can you tell me what you want me to cook?" I was still giggling with delight."Cook just what you are familiar with. You barely know how to cook, anyway." His tone was usually solemn, and his face was expressionless. He did not pause to press the tablet. I'd stare at him when he closed the iPad, and then he looked at me."I'm going to prepare a meal." I held back from slapping him with the frying pan I was carrying, even t

Right now, I’m at Tyron's office, and he’s trying to figure out where Lorenzo and I will meet. It’s like if I’m a girlfriend attempting to discover whether my partner is cheating. It just made me feel nauseous. After Lorenzo and I finished talking, he was abruptly called and informed that there was an issue at their workplace. It’s inconvenient for me since that’s my only hope to ask if he knows the case about the Smith. I’m at his office because of what happened. Isn’t that also great news? I managed to persuade Lorenzo to join me for a meal out.“Take a seat first; you haven’t even gotten that man’s phone number. You would have been conversing and inquiring where you would meet if you had taken his number to make our plan easier.” Tyron frankly stated. I felt it was a huge issue to him that I did not get Lorenzo's phone number. For five minutes, I didn’t even speak to that man! I didn’t even put my acting skills to work! But, amid my mental whining, I got a flash of insight about w

“What should I wear?” Now I’m throwing to bed my favorite outfits. I’m undecided about what I’ll wear. Lorenzo and I are going to meet up tonight! What if he turns off to what I’m wearing, and our plan comes to fruition? Isn’t that correct? Little things may have a tremendous impact!“Just wear everything you want. Because you are so attractive, perhaps everything will work out for you.” Even though Tyron couldn’t see me, I smiled at him. On his phone, this guy is playing Candy Crush. I’m not sure why. Instead of making him laugh, it makes his robot face appear even more attractive. I was exhausted and leaned over him. His legs were crossed, and he didn’t even glance at me.“Am I really beautiful?” I bumped into his back to annoy him because of what he said, but I didn’t get any other answer from him. I went to the cabinet again to search. I don’t know how I’ll fix these scattered clothes later! There are still no maids in the house. Thank God, and he didn’t let me cook for him or let

“L-Lorenzo? Why are you here?” My eyes are still shocked. How did he get here? I looked around and tried to find who I could be. Where did Tyron go?! He should have told me that Lorenzo was going to meet me here! Is this the reason he left?!“Oh! I must be the one asking that. I reserved this day to shop for my clothes. Shouldn’t I be the one asking why you’re here?”His question made my heart beat faster. How do I answer that? Tyron said nothing about it! I thought we would just buy clothes, then I would get ready for Lorenzo and my dinner later! I took a deep breath, then answered the thing I thought. I don’t know if he will believe it. This is better than not telling him anything, and he will be even more skeptical.“Oh! I have reservations too. Could it be that they just made a mistake that coincided with the dates? What do you think?” I walked around slowly to look like I was looking for clothes. He quickly went behind me. Because he is still dressed in a tuxedo, I believe he just

“No. This is too revealing. Maybe instead of turning him on, he might just back off.”He was just looking at the phone. He just stares at me for a second! It doesn’t take long for him to look at me to take a good look! I don’t think he even knew I was wearing it backless! I’ve changed a lot, but he still doesn’t let me wear a nightdress! These are the final two outfits! I’m not going tonight if he still doesn’t like it! I removed my clothing and replaced them with the previous bag. I couldn’t form the words in my brain because he suddenly asked. I feel like with just one word he will know who I am. No. Not allowed. I’m just starting. I can’t break right away. He stepped towards me, so I backed away.“I said the room you chose is beautiful. What are you saying?” It was Tyron’s voice from my ear. I suddenly went back to trance when he added that. “Say it to him.”I instantly looked up at Lorenzo and extended my hand to calm them down. I continued without halting and stated what Tyron had said. I attempted to cheer myself up despite my trembling. My voice is also a little unsteady.“I-I said the room they gave you is beautiful.” Not the same word, but I hope he believes what I said. I saw his face soften a bit. He looked at the server, who was watching us now. He smiled there, then turned to me as if nothing had happen

Lorenzo did not complain about my offer to him. The construction workers arrived just a few days ago and even exceeded what I expected to come. I didn’t know that he would take seriously what I said that needs to be made easier because it is better to teach people who want to study earlier. But I think it’s also good that he dug into what he worked for because of the 20+ he took to haul the equipment. They didn’t have a hard time. I was right when I said that they could not enter the vehicles because it was too muddy. The mixer truck also did not enter, so they were mixing the cement manually.Somehow there is a beginning even though they have only been here four days since they came here. As I watched all the cement, the worker’s Lorenzo stood beside me. I was wearing an orange dress and white shoes. When the strong wind passed through my face, my hair ruffled, so I put the sharpened hair back behind my ear. I saw him seriously staring at my face, but I didn’t pay attention to him. T

“What are you doing here?” When I was at the door, that was immediately what Lorenzo asked me. Maybe he saw my crazy laugh. Maybe hundreds of questions were going through his brain as to why I was laughing alone in this cabin, even though there was no one here except for me.“Why did you follow me?” I did not answer the question, but I answered with the question as well. I lost my enthusiasm for this plan. All the excitement I poured out vanished like a bubble. I didn’t look at him and still walked, even though he was blocking. As I approached the stairs to put on my slippers again, he grabbed my hand. No one answered our questions for each other.“You haven’t explained yet. I didn’t ask you why you weren’t ready to be my girlfriend even though you also showed that you like me.” His eyes were full of questions and he was ready to ask the next questions again, but I knew he was keeping himself from getting angry. No matter what he does, he will never get an answer from me, especially s

My jaws were left open with what he said. I was still in the revenge phase while he was already flirting. Take note: he is already asking for an answer. His question stunned me; I didn’t know what to answer. How can I tell him I’m not ready yet? That was my only remaining reason for answering his question. Can he just ask something else?“Y-you know, Lorenzo, I’m not ready for those things yet. And that’s not what we went for here, is it?” I hesitated to take his hand away from me and then smiled awkwardly. I didn’t want to offend him, but because he suddenly asked, I wasn’t feeling good. I’ll just assume I haven’t heard that.I left him there because his jaw stiffened. I’m hoping they complete what they’re going to do soon because I want us to leave here and I’m starting to feel uncomfortable with him again. I’m not sure when I fell asleep following what occurred to Adonis and me. I’d want to check the time, but I can’t find the clock. I attempted to rise, but I couldn’t because of the discomfort in my lower body. I suppose this proves that what happened last night was not a hoax. My body has begun to relax. When I checked around the little cabin, I couldn’t see Tyron. Is that all there is? I’m at a loss for words. It felt as though salt was being sprinkled over a new wound that had just been opened. The door opened just as I was ready to get up and leave because I felt he had abandoned me. It sounded loud as if the opening had shattered it. My heart skipped a beat because of what someone did when he came in, but it quickly calmed down when I saw him...He had fresh coconut juice and food on the plate. Those are, once again, veggies. Cole fed me fish daily, as if I had always wanted to eat anything. I’m thinking of eating worms. It felt as though the flavor of fish had been lodged in my to

“Hmm ... Haaa.”I catch my breath as I continue to keep my hands wrapped around Tyron's neck. My head and body are fully poisoned since they are already being taken away by his kisses and caresses. One of his legs is now in the center of my thigh, attempting to split my thighs while my two hands are elevated. As if there is no tomorrow, our mouths are blades. His every motion and breath is scorching, adding to the fire in my body.We can’t hear the rain since Tyron's cabin’s roof isn’t composed of galvanized iron. Thunder is the only sound that can be heard. Because we are already on the brink of the water, its roar is audible. It’s frightening to think that something horrible may happen to us while we’re here, since the sea will rise in response to the power of the rain.“Why are you such in a hurry?” I yanked him away from me, but he didn’t let go and turned my neck. He muttered there, which contributed to the sensation of what we were doing. Outside, I’m sure it was already dark. I

“Is everything all right?” I am now sitting outside while listing the names of children and older students. We are now at the long table as the six of us sit. I didn’t make a mistake and we will indeed be overwhelmed because even the other barrio has already registered. The volunteers have arrived.“Arturo Mendez and Arturo Mendez Jr., Miss. ”I wrote the name of the student; they are father and son. It’s good that somehow they don’t want to forget to study and they persevere. Even though my purpose here is different, the people here are also my priority.“Tyron.”That’s what the man next to the man said earlier. I looked up and glanced at Tyron. This man is very stubborn. He doesn’t even know how to listen to what I’m saying. I also did nothing but put his name. I don’t want to argue with him now because someone else will notice us.Ever since he told me about the ring, he has only become more and more clingy. I don’t know if he’s sweet sometimes or he just acts like that. Sometimes

Lorenzo and I were both surprised when I came out of the big grass and he was also passing by. I don’t know how long I’ve been in Tyron ’cabin. I looked back to see if he had followed. Lorenzo also looked where I looked.I walked over and took his hand to pull him back. I no longer waited for him to ask. If he were to ask, we should be far away from here because Tyron might suddenly appear here next to me and I would lose all my reasons for Lorenzo. He hadn’t carried the pointers anymore. Maybe he left them or he forgot to bring them back because he was swimming earlier. When we finally saw the many people, he started to ask. Fortunately, we were far away because I saw Tyron coming again, so my eyes widened, but he went straight to where the children were.“What exactly are you doing there? I thought you’d returned?” He took another look towards the rear where we had passed a while ago, and Tyron removed his farmer’s hat so Lorenzo wouldn’t spot him. While I was doing so, I drew him e

I am outside. I turned around to look for Tyron. Even though I drove him away, I still wanted him to stay here and watch over me, even if it was unfair to Wendy. No matter what I do, I can’t stop the overflowing I feel for him. I could barely sleep with the kiss he did on me. I turned my back to pretend he was there, but I only saw the approaching Lorenzo.“Let’s go?” He pulled me into the sea, he said. He told me we would look for fish there because there is a cave in the sea where the fish are staying. He was holding two large-pointed bamboos. He says that’s what we are going to use; to catch fish.I turned around again to look, but I didn’t see Tyron, so I just shrugged it off. Volunteers will be coming tomorrow. We will see how many students there are. Other adults still want to learn. With the amount of population here, I think quite a few can be listed. I just hope they send more volunteers. After we count them, the school will be built next. Depending on the quantity, how much

Lorenzo did not speak to me so that I could rest, but he did bring me food for lunch and dinner. He was correct, and I regained my strength since I felt better the next day. It was cozy, and by the time I ate that night, I was feeling a little better.I heard birds crowing, and I think I awoke early since I slept early the night before. I stood up and glanced at the cabinet that had been prepared for me. Lorenzo didn’t sleep here, so I suppose they assigned us to a separate cabin. I brought my baggage and a backpack. I took the suitcase first to place my clothes in the cabinet so that I wouldn’t have to struggle every time I took a shower and dressed. Next, I took up the phone and tried to open it, but it was dead. I also assumed that I wouldn’t be able to use it here because there was no signal in the hidden provinces. It is tough to find a signal, just like in Guangdong. When I was about to get up to go out and ask where I could find the toilet, I heard the call to me.“Lizelle?” The
