The Constant Apology

Renata kept sobbing for minutes. She felt so good in Michelangelo’s arms. She didn’t want to get out of that warm embrace. He didn’t ask her to stop crying, he just held her close to himself.

“I don’t know what to do. I don’t know what to do. What should I do, Michel?” Renata kept sobbing.

“First, sit down!” he made her sit back down on the bed and knelt before her. “Now talk to me!”

“Do you want this kid?” she asked.

“Ren! Are you kidding me? Of course, I want this kid. He or she will be mine. You are mine. I want my family,” said Michelangelo.

“He-he,” scoffed Renata and somehow laughed. “Family? There will be no family. Our child will be born in prison. You can take him/her after that. You have to take care of them but don’t make them an angry moron like you.”
