Chapter Seventy-Three

Eliana's Pov

"So what you are telling me, is that you sold your soul to the fucking devil."

Oliver practically yelled as he paced around the room.

After a whole lot of explanation and exclamation, I finally told Oliver why Noah and I were together.

Let's just say he wasn't pleased. Well, I didn't expect him to be, that's why I didn't tell him beforehand, and the contract forbid me from doing so. I was risking a lot ofthings by telling me.

He looked at me with a wild look in his eyes, "Why didn't you say anything, Eliana? I could have found a way-"

"-there was no way out, Oliver. I did what I had to do." I cut into his comment. There was no way he could have possibly helped and even if he had the money somehow, it would be a whole lot to put down. I couldn't do that to him.

He sat beside me, the movie momentarily forgotten. he heaved a sigh as he combed through his hair with his hand, slightly tugging at the roots, "I thought he was an asshole but turns out he's much worse." He said,
