Noah took me to his mother and father who were seated in their chair, talking to their friends.

"Father, mother," Noah called to get their attention.

Felix glanced up to us with a smile on his face then signified for his guests to spare him a second.

Lucy smiled at us as we sat in the chairs before them, "one day you guys would host something like this."

Felix added, "I believe it,"

Noah smiled, squeezing my hand softly, "Hopefully."

Lucy smiled, "The wedding is closer than you think, everything is almost ready."

My heart skipped a beat, it’s all going to be real soon.

He would be mine and I his, that was nothing but both scary and liberating.

"Yes, it is close." Noah said, his hand on his chin, "Uhm, we have to go early tonight. "

Lucy looked a bit sad but she smiled, "It's okay, thank you for the presents, " she said, embracing us. Felix smiled, giving me a hug, "Thank you,"
