The dinner went smoothly. Alex visibly seemed more relaxed, and in no time, we were all joking around. I liked Emily. She had sass and fire, needed in a home full of men, but she seemed to argue with Maria a lot.

The baby was so cute, and when I carried him in my arms, he smiled, making the motherly instincts I never knew I had to flutter.

The twins playfully flirted with me, but after a game of monopoly, they recognised me as an enemy because I partnered with Emily to school the men.

Cole and Alex accepted their loss like mature adults, but the twins were finding it hard to accept reality. Maria was the banker. The game went smoothly, well as smoothly as monopoly could go.
