Eliana’s POV

Positive.

It came out Positive. It was Official. Eliana Brookes is going to be a mother. My vision blurred as the test fell from my hand. I felt a million emotions, but the one which stood out was fear. Was I cut out to be a mother? Bella’s excited scream pierced through my thoughts and brought me back to the present and I almost choked as she wrapped her arms around me.

“Oh my God Eliana!” She screamed again in my ear, not noticing my tears rolling down my cheek. I choked down a sob and that was what drew Bella’s attention.

“Eliana!” Bella gasped as she saw my tear-stricken face. She used a tissue to wipe my eyes and I subconsciously thanked God for waterproof cosmetics, or else my eyes would have been stained with black streaks from my mascara.

“Eliana, what’s wrong?” she said, looking at me.

I played with the test in my hand, “What if I’m not good enough for my baby Bella?” I know I have said this before, but it was a genuine fear for me.
