‘Mum! Mum! Can we go home now, I’m done with my homework’, I feel Ajax’s palm in mine, pulling me in the direction of the door.

As if snapped out of a reverie, the cold seeps away from Adam’s expression, replaced by a smile he turned on Ajax,
