Mariko was stunned that she lose her grip on the knife she was holding. Fortunately, Marcus turned his head and the knife fell directly onto the ground. Marcus sighed in relief.

‘What did he say? Does he like me? That’s absurd. He will not fall into someone like me. Besides, maybe, he just say it to save his life. I should not be distracted.’ She thought to herself.
