Amorivia had the strangest dream about the angel taking care of her. She must have fallen unconscious again since she's sure she's laying on the ground, staring at the blue sky. Suddenly, a face of a bunny came into view. She remembers this bunny.
"Lady Amorivia! Are you awake now?"
Her eyes widened, instantly sitting up when she realized it was Ceejay the bunny in front of her. How in the whirlwind did she get there?
"I'm not dreaming, am I?"
"No, silly!" Ceejay laughed, hopping to her lap and hugging her.
"I remember I was on my way here but I don't remember how I got here."
"Oh! The young man with wings!" The bunny mo
Saiva was losing hope when she felt Amorivia's presence in her land but then suddenly her eyes widened as it was getting hard for her to breath. It was like someone had her heart and is squeezing it, making her hold tightly on the porch. The Angel is here with the lady, she thought. As she was about to stand, a harsh wind blew her way, a voice she heard that got her hands sweaty. The Angel's voice telling her to calm down but how could she? His presence and his voice had already sent chills down her spine. Her hands are terribly shaking with his ice cold presence. "Saiva!" That voice! She raised her head and sees the lady running to her side. "Are you alright? What is wrong?" The worry that is painted in the lady's face somehow flushed the tightness in her chest and she smiled. "I'm fine now. I was really worried about you. We all were," she softly said, wrapping her arm around the lady. "You should never hide anything from your friends. Tell them about
The next morning, at breakfast, The Elf noticed the slight swelling and redness of Amorvia and Saiva's eyes. It looks like they have been crying all night but they did not hear the lady cry. But whatever the reason was, they are about to know."I have something to tell you all."Early in the morning and the atmosphere is already heavy in their room. The way Saiva said that in a low tone got them thinking it must be serious!"Your next goal is to gather the seven orbs. It will not be as easy as rescuing wolves. Even trying to steal one of the orb might kill all of you. And you know death is a restart button or it might be game over. The Angel of Death is mischievous, and if we put this like a game, he is the worst enemy-- the game maker."
"I can snap my fingers and he will open his eyes," Nisemono smirked, enjoying how the expression on her face changes. The war in her mind must be depressing."You harmed him and then you will wake him? Why would you do that?" she questions, eyes squinted at him."Yes, why would I do that? I wonder."No, he does not. That wide grin on his face tells how he can be selfish, destructive and mostly careless with what harm he inflicted. Why is he an Angel? He does not have the attitude of one at all."You know," he flew closer to her, staying in midair. "Let us be friends. Let us get to know one another and I will open his eyes once you get an orb and of course if you agree.""
"So, I see you have decided to accept my offer.""That is the only way I can ever return the favor I owe to the Lost Boy. Don't get too excited.""I'm always excited!" he jump off from a branch, landing perfectly in front of the lady. "Every Friday night, meet me somewhere quiet and we'll get to know each other," he said, backing away with an intimidating smile."Wait!" she grabs his shirt. "I want to know why you are helping me!" It was hard to see him in the eyes so she looked away."Let us just say I regret leaving you with the Lost Boy. You are special to me." One last glimpse and he went further into the woods, leaving Amorivia his back to view.Into the woods, he feels li
The sun was setting when they saw flickers of light just nearby. It could be a small town so they decided to walk up ahead. They weren't wrong, it was really a town full of normal people and they seemed to not be bothered by their presence. To find a place for the night, they asked one of the stalls where they can lodge in. The kind vendor then told them the direction to where the place was but there was a problem. Money. They don't seem to know what money is."Did Saiva told any of you about money?" Amorivia asked. And when they shake their heads side to side, she was not surprised at all. "Okay, money is something you exchange for something.""Oh!" They all nodded, like a student who lies about finally figuring out how the solution ends up finding x because it will take too long for another thorough explanation. She face palm, groaning."Okay, it could be a coin or some kind of paper or something. Maybe we should ask them what theirs look like."
Kitto woke up with a severe headache and the feeling of wanting to throw up so bad. His head dang hurts so much and he groans in dizziness. Slowly, he opened his eyes and see Amrak still sleeping. How did they end up in their room? What happened? All he can remember was going out and meeting a strange man. Some moments after, he hears the door open. Selena and Amorivia came in holding a tray. He waited for Arwha but she never came in. Maybe she was still upset with how he acted the other night at Saiva's. "Why did you two drink so much?" Amorivia asked while assisting him to sit up. "Do you remember what happened?" "No. All I remember was a man telling us how to drink." He didn't know this is how weak he'd get. H
Because of the young men's hangover, they decided to stay another night in that Inn. Good thing their money still made it but it can't make them stay for a third night and they don't want to be behind their days. "You two are a pain, wasting our money to stay another night," Selena glares at the men, putting down the tray she has in her hands. "You're still upset with me?" Amrak asked, avoiding eye contact with the elf. When he hears her giggling, he looked up only to see a fake smile. Oh he knows he was dead when she started reaching her hand to slap slightly his cheek. "I c-can tell you are furious." "Oh! I am so glad you know!" she growled, her eyes wide burning with fire. Amorivia laughed softly hearing the two's c
They reached the city some time after the sun had set. To the least they expected, the city was still full of people. Usually when dusk comes and stars starts to show up, no creature would roam anywhere. But this city was busy. Humans, elves, half-humans, they were all together, harmonizing peacefully. As they go explore the city further, they see fountains and carriage. They did not even know people rides the horse until they had seen one."Wow, are we still in our worlds? The city is still awake like it is morning!" Amrak was sure blown, jaw dropping every now and then when he sees something new to him."Let's check the Atlas if we are close."They opened their Atlas and saw they were steps closer. They followed it and e
Amorivia was still crying even after entering the gates of the Seven Orb. She killed him. The Angel of Death warned her and now it's her conscience that isn't clear. "Hey, we had to do that. We needed to do that, Amorivia." Tenshi cupped her face and even though her lips were trembling, she has to look at his eyes to stop. She was still guilty on the inside and nothing can change that. "We are already here. All we can do now is go further and go home." And that she understand, nodding as Tenshi wipe her tears away. Inhaling, she started thinking straight while he holds her hand. Finally, they have a chance to go home but she knew exactly what was waiting.
The moon is rising with the stars slowly appearing, replacing the bright sun, bringing darkness in the land of Shi no Ji. Keisuke displayed a smirk, his eyes focused on the moon. When it shines the brightest like how he once saw it on the mortal world, it will be time to close the curtains. As soon as The Angel of Death feels the presence of the souls, he motioned his hand, letting the cube lift a little higher allowing the lady to see how he fights her friends. Not only that, his time is limited, only a few hours and they will figure out how to break the cube. If that breaks, he has to accept those memories once again. Keisuke waited for them to stand in front of him, he could already see their angry faces. How lovely they express their minds. As soon as they sta
Now that they've found out that the guardian of the next orb is The Angel of Death himself, they know their adventure is about to end. They wanted to go home to Saiva but unfortunately, the Altas was burned, must be from the lightning that struck Nisemono. "I'm sorry. I didn't think it would turn in to ashes," Nisemono apologized, scratching the back of his head. "We don't need that one anymore. Keisuke doesn't stay in one city, he will come whenever he wants to. What we need to do is be ready when he strikes, he's pretty tricky," Tenshi told them. Well working for the Angel of Death at first, he ought to know stuffs that Keisuke does. He often would visit the outside of his Sekai, maybe visits the Angels Realm or somewhere in the mortal world. Sometimes he would talk ab
As Nisemono got closer to the guardian's Sekai, he could hear the thunder and sees light flashing. It gave him the idea that Pika uses the lighting. Bravely, he steps inside the guardian's world. The inside is a plain, just flat with a leafless tree in the middle. There, he notices someone standing on a branch, wearing white clothes, facing him.The lightning and the loud rumbling of the sky doesn't seem to make the young man flinch. There is no doubting it, that someone in the middle is the guardian Pika. Nismeono waited for Pika to approach him but the guardian did not. No other choice left, he started striding towards that dang tree. Every step he takes, he ready himself for a lightning that could come striking. As soon as he was in front of the guardian, he stopped.
When the fairies heard of Amorivia getting her memories back, the King decided to prepare a feast to celebrate it. All of them gathered under the Sacred Tree where the fairies play their music, they also held hands, forming a circle while they dance. Everyone has sparkles in their eyes, shimmering as giggles filled the air. As soon as the fairies served alcohol on the table, Kitto and Amrak looked at each other, eyes wide. They know what will happen if they try to take one glass in. They look at their lady and the dangerous aura surrounding Selena and Arwha was there. "Don't even think about it, Kitto." Even though Arwha was smiling at him, he knows well that she is ready to beat him up any second if he puts his finger around that glass. "I was not thinking of it," he li
Just when Tenshi storm off to find Amorivia back in that maze, the guardian informed the others that Amorivia will lose her emotions for a couple of days. She was too weak to take the orb. In order for an orb to settle in a body, one has to have strong emotions. That is why she had to die with her memories. But if she gets stronger, there's a fair chance that her memory might return. With the rain pouring, they were given by the guardians some roof made of a big leaf to shelter them all. Every passing second, Amrak knows he was going to lose Selena and it is making him go madder. He's too useless, unable to do anything for Selena but cry. While the others were waiting, Tenshi was still in shock to see Amo
"You are an illusion," Nisemono uttered. "I know you can alter memories. That flying flower, it has your magic in it." Just after he said it, like a bubble, the illusion blew and replaced with a fallen petal. How cool it is if he could own the ability. Sadly, he knows it is not for him. Well, he has to continue with his exit. Selena as expected, was facing Tosh. She has been chosen by the green orb and with her magical bow, she was keeping up with the guardian. That training from the old man Pula really helped her in this battle. The fairy, Tosh, had the trees and thorns to control, he could also make the ground rise and make spikes out of it. Selena had to m
Their rest day came to an end and they were back to traveling again. It says on the map that they have to travel at least three days to arrive at the gates of the City of Wings. If only all of them could fly, it would be faster for them to be in front of the gates. But who would love to rush their deaths? From what they experience with Pula, there is somewhat an uneasiness in their minds, worrying at the possibility that they might end up in a reset. But in order to get home, they have to brush those worries away, fight for all their mights. "I was wondering," Amrak suddenly spoke, "Do you have any ideas what will happen after we gather the orbs? I know we'll go home but how does it do that?" They all stopped walking and looked at Amrak's way, blinking their eyes, thinking what the
The moment Amorivia's eyes opened, she saw an unfamiliar ceiling. It wasn't as nice as Saiva's ceiling design but it was not an eyesore. How funny it is that she's comparing ceilings rather than thinking where she is. Slowly she sits up and her eyes searched the room for clue. Looks like she's in someone's house, maybe the old man? She wonders why it was so quiet. Did she pass the training? She can't quite recall if she had but she remember making that messy garden a little more of a garden. Those roses! Their thorns hurts so much and she wasn't even given any tools by the old man! How inconsiderate! It took a lot of cuts to trim the darn roses! She looks down on her hand and noticed the bandages, even the cuts on her arms from that plants' branch. After a while, she stand up
