Chapter 20

Bevens point of view.

Davin somehow manages to guide us through the gates of Hell; the intense heat already feels as though it's burning your skins as the gates glow.

I can see my princess lay on some sort of platform, but I can't reach her, we keep walking and walking but don't seem to get any nearer to her, I turn to Darriel as I ask

"What the fuck is going on."

He replies, his face grim

"It's just the Gods, you have to keep walking we will reach her, the Gods are playing mind tricks, do not let them get to you Beven."

I nod my head as we walk towards her trying to ignore the flaming monsters that surround us. I hear Davin cry out, turning to look at him as I see him holding his head as he cries.
