William

I am on my way home from college for a long weekend. I have one more sesimester before I graduate from Harvard University. I am majoring in business economics with a minor in socailoloigy. Then it's back home for good to take over my father's pack, the New Moon Rising pack, and his business, Harris Enterprises.

My father, Alpha Wyatt Harris, is the original technical genius. He built Harris Enterprises from the ground up. He is a powerful Alpha as well. At the age of 45, he is the oldest Alpha, still holding down the position and doing it very well. To say I have some really big shoes to fill is an understatement. I have never really been challenged by anything in life, so I am looking forward to it.

My mother, Luna Hope Harris, is the heart and soul of our pack. She will remain as our Luna once I take over until I find my mate and Luna. Which isn't something I have put a lot of effort into. I know that once she is relieved of her duties, my parents will probably leave our packlands with my younger brother and sisters, and I am not ready to lose them. My mother is also a witch.

My whole life, I have been told I am a coveted source of good magic. The 3rd generation of Caulder witch. I have the power of time manipulation like my mother. As well as impath and telekinesis abilities. I can literally do anything with my mind and body that I choose. I am also telepathic. Which means I am a walking, breathing, lie detector machine.

It is sometimes very difficult living in a world full of humans when you are anything but. Not being able to tell anyone the truth about yourself. All the while knowing everything about those around you whether they choose to tell you or not. The next 6 months can not go fast enough for me.

The only one I will truly miss from the human world is my girlfriend Rachel. I know that I can never have a lasting relationship with her. She could never be my Luna, nor would she fit into my werewolf-witch world. I can't say that I love her, not the way my father loves my mother, but I know that she loves me, and I do care for her very much.

I mind link my father as I am pulling onto our packlands. He tells me he is in his office with his Beta Jack and his son Cayden, his Gamma Archie, and his son Dylan, who are also my best friends. Cayden, Dylan, and I are all less than a year apart in age. They will become my Beta and Gamma after I take over.

I walk into my father's office and greet the men who have helped to raise me and the men who will grow with me. Not long after, my mother came in with my younger siblings, my brother Wesly, who is 10, my sister Harper, who is 8, and the baby Abigail, who is 8 months old. She hands Abigail off to my father and wraps me in one of her famous hugs.

"Will, I have missed you," She tells me, kissing me cheek. "How long can you stay?"

"I will be here through Monday." I say. "We will have a chance to catch up, I promise."

.

My mother goes and settles herself on my father's lap, which is their way, taking Abigail into her lap.

As soon as I sat down, Harper jumped into my lap. I miss my siblings. Especially Harper, she and I have always had a special connection. It will be exciting for me to see what powers she will have when she gets her wolf. I am the only one of my parents' children who had their powers from birth.

My father has been encouraging me each time I come home to get more involved with pack responsibilities. My mother founded the Harris House for abused and exploited female shifters, after a long battle my parents had with a couple of rouge werebears. Who were enslaving innocent witch's and she-wolf's for their own personal gain. She still holds an active role in its operations. Once they find the Harris House, the shifters are first brought here to the pack hospital. Where Doctor Edwards and her staff do a complete workup on them to assess and treat any health issues they may have. Once they are medically cleared, they are placed into one of the 5 safe houses my mother converted from strip clubs to house them. They can stay as long as they need to so long as they can pass monthly drug screenings, and they abid

Layla I had gotten up, showered, and dressed quickly. I was about to leave our room when Opey stirred awake. I went back to the bed and sat down beside her, wrapping my arm around her shoulders. "Good morning." I said to her. "Layla, I am really sorry about yesterday." "I already told you it wasn't your fault, but please do try to keep yourself out of trouble today." I said, giving her shoulders a gentle shake. "I don't want to stay here, Lay." She told me with tears in her eyes and shaking her head. "Can't we just run away?" "You know that we can't. We don't have anywhere to go." I didn't want to tell her about the Harris House just yet and get her hopes up. "We could go rouge," She suggested. "It would be better than you getting beaten every day." She said as she dropped her eyes to her lap, obviously still feeling guilty. "Mekia and I can handle the beatings. And I am going to find a way to get us out of here. I promise we just have to hang on a little while longer

Layla I thanked Maribelle for showing me where the grits were kept, and then we went back to work. The other Omegas exchanged knowing glances but didn't say anything. Once all the warriors had been fed, I made a bowl of eggs and bacon for Opey and headed back outside to the cellar entrance. I shuttered as I did so. It still pissed me off to no end even after 3 years that the cellar was where we were forced to reside. It was cold, dark, and damp and no place for a little girl to live. Mekia was right. We were Alpha females. And we didn't deserve this. Our only crime was being orphaned by our parents. And we couldn't do anything about that. I gave the food to Opey. After speaking with her a few minutes. I headed back towards the kitchen to get the cleaning supplies, I would need to clean my uncle's office. Of course, I wasn't allowed to use a mop and bucket. I had to scrub the floors with a brush on my hands and knees. I was even more thankful for Maribelle's assistance once

Layla I covered my mouth to stifle my gasp. I could hardly believe my ears. I mean, I knew my uncle was a low-life, but I would have never expected this. He was allowing the rape of she-wolves, harvesting their pups, and selling them. As what? Pets? I felt as though I was going to be physically sick. 'We have to leave here tonight!' Mekia said. I knew she was right. The thought of Opey being tied down and raped was too much for me to handle. Not that I was looking forward to it myself. The warrior that had been with my uncle. Keith, I think, is his name. Had made my skin crawl. I was a virgin, and I intended to stay that way until I found my fated mate. Since my uncle had gotten the mind link from the border, I was concerned about the werebears. Because I didn't know which part of the border he was referring to. I wouldn't know which way to go to avoid them as we were on our way out of the packlands. But we would just have to take our chances. The direction we would need

William and Wyatt After our run, I returned to my father's office to go over some reports he wanted us to look at together. It had felt good to let Luke, my wolf, out for a while. That is another thing we miss living in the human world. It isn't easy finding a safe place for him to run in the city, and Luke deserves to have that freedom. He is an Alpha male. I know it's hard on him being caged up inside of me all the time. We were setting across the desk from one another going through the flies. I was using my mind to turn the pages, another thing I couldn't do at the university. My father looked at me and chuckled at my antics. While he had to use his fingers to flip his pages. I returned his smile as I turned another page with a slight squint of my eye. "Looks like we are doing pretty well pop," I said to him as I finished the report I'd been reading. "Our stock is up, investments steady, sales are in the black. I got to hand it to you. You're one hell of a businessman." "W

He denied any knowledge of the situation. I thought, at the very least, she would be a candidate for the Harris House." "Of course we will take her." My mother said. "Doctor Edwards can do an ultrasound and evaluate her mental status, and then we can go from there with her treatment." "We may have bigger problems than a delusional she-wolf." My father said. "If Alpha Greg really is doing these things, we have to stop him." "Agreed!" Uncle brody said. "You can count on the full support of me and my clan. I can bring the female to you tomorrow. I will keep her safe until then." "Dose she have any physical injuries?" I asked uncle Brody. "Not that we can see other a few bruises and rope burns on her arms and legs from being restrained. Layla Opey and I had reached the bus station with no problems. I'd had enough money left over after buying our tickets that I was able to get Opey some food. We were sitting on a bench in the lobby of the station waiting to get on the bus while Opey finished her fries. "Are you sure you don't want some?" She asked me. "I know you are hungry too. I can hear your stomach growling." I took the frie she was offering me and popped it in my mouth, smiling at her. "We will be there by tomorrow." I told her. "Where is 'there'?" She asked me. "I told you, Opey, it's a home, a place for werewolves like us that don't have one." "I am scared, Layla." "I am too." I said, taking another french fry out of the pack. "But it can't be any worse than where we just came from. I am not going to let anything happen to you." "Who is going to make sure nothing happens to you?" She asked me. "Good morning, yourself stud. When are you coming home? I miss you." 'I am home.' I thought to myself. I really wasn't looking forward to the time when I would have to tell Rachel that I wasn't coming back and that she couldn't come with me. But might I suggest you cast a spell around yourself before you come back home. Keep yourself out of her mind temporarily?" I stopped us and looked into my mother's eyes. "Just be careful with your wording." She continued." I have gotten myself into a bit of trouble trying to cast spells on myself. William I had been watching from the courtyard waiting for Layla and her sister to leave the hospital. I had to see her just one more time before I left. Even if I had fucked everything up with her at least I could see her until I figured out how to fix it. When I saw the interaction between her and my Harris House counselor I watched on with curiosity. When Layla started yelling at the guy, I couldn't help but smile. I wanted to see the Alpha I knew she had buried inside of her come out. It seemed the trigger was her sister. But I had already caused enough trouble for today, so I had gone to investigate. When I found out they were trying to separate her from Ophelia. I had to get involved. It had turned out pretty well since my mate would now be staying here with my parents. I had to speak with my mother before I left. I had no idea why Layla was lying to me or what she was trying to hide. But if there was anyone in this world who could get her to open up, it was Luna Hope.

Layla I was absolutely losing my shit when the nurse helped me up off the floor. My hair was glued to my face by my tears. And I was trembling. I got Opey up off of the floor, and She had tears streaming down her cheeks as well. The nurse handed me another gown, and I quickly slid it on over my shoulders. The doctor was staring at me. I knew we were in big trouble because I had pissed off their Alpha. I opened my mouth to apologize, but no sound came out. I slumped back down onto the bed. I couldn't stop the tears that were spilling from my eyes. I had screwed everything up for us, and I knew it. I sat still as the nurse cleaned and bandaged my back. At least, I wouldn't leave here and have it get infected. "Are you ok?" The doctor finally asked me. I nodded my head at her. "You can both get dressed when you are done. You are free to go." She turned and left the room. "You will need to come back in a couple of days to have the bandages changed." The nurse said to me as

William I had just finished up breakfast with my family. When I saw the Harris House bus coming down the driveway toward the hospital. I waited for it to pass by because I knew the first part would be getting them all registered. I wasn't in any real big hurry to get there. When I came in through the double doors. Only a couple of the shifters were still sitting in the waiting room, and the rest had been taken back to exam rooms. I checked in with the nurse to see which hall the shifters were taken to and headed that way. I was walking down the east hall, looking in through the different windows at the shifters. This is something I have seen most of my adult life. So I wasn't shocked by their appearances. When I got to the last window and looked in. My heart stopped beating, and Luke pushed forward. It was the bus stop woman and her little sister. They were both sitting on the side of the bed wearing hospital gowns. Luke began to growl viciously and fight me for control when

Layla Early the next morning, Opey and I got up. We showered and got ourselves dressed. Then, we went downstairs to have breakfast. It wasn't long before we were all loaded up on the buses and heading to the Harris House hospital. There were 12 of us, including Opey and myself, on our bus. "What are they going to do to us?" Opey asked me. " It's just a checkup, Opey. They're gonna make sure that we're healthy. That's all." I assured her. "What about your back?" She asked me softly so no one else could hear her. I sighed. "There isn't anything I can do about it. So I'm not going to worry about it." "Are you going to tell them who did it?" She asked me, concerned with wide eyes. I had thought about that but I didn't have an answer. I was hoping they wouldn't ask. We were in a home for battered shifters. So I was hoping it would be like the intake process, and the doctor would just accept it and patch me up. "Not unless I have to." I answered her. "If anyone asks you an

William It had definitely been the day from hell for me! Cayden and Dylan had suggested we go out for a while and get a few drinks. I had readily agreed. I was in my room getting ready when the bus stop woman invaded my mind again. I was supposed to leave tomorrow night to head back to the university. And I didn't want to go. In the morning, I was going to oversee the intake of the latest Harris House refugees. I thought if I could find them again, I could just sneak them into the program. We had never had humans stay at the Harris House before, but there was a first time for everything. I knew I was grasping at straws. Rachel had called again, and I had blew her off again. I didn't have any idea what she saw in me. I decided that once I got back, I was going to make a clean break from her. It was really the right thing to do for the both of us. I hoped she would find a guy who would do her right. Especially seeing as how I may have to drop everything at a moment's notice and

Layla It had been late by the time we reached the Harris House. Everyone there had been so kind to us. The intake procedure was actually quite easy. I only had to lie a few times to the nice counselor who was assisting us. If she had any inclination that I was lying, she didn't show it. I am sure they hear all kinds of stories every day. Maybe they are trained to just accept what they are told and move on. I told her that we were orphans, which was the only part of my story that was true. I told her that we had gone rogue after our parents died. She seemed to be sympathetic and understand our plight. She agreed that Opey and I didn't have any business being on our own and that my little sister needed to be in school and have some structure. I thanked her for that. That's where the lies started. I told her that our parents had been warriors and were killed in the pack wars. Opey, obviously, wasn't old enough to have her wolf yet, and I told her I was born without one. She rais

Should anyone find out what I have in my dungeon, I was done! "We have searched the entire pack." Keith told me. "Both she and the little girl are gone." "The fucking werebears!" I thundered as I drove my fist down into my desktop. It had to be. There was no other explanation. The flea bitten bastards now had 3 of my women and 2 of my pups. They'd had the nerve to come to my borders and question me. Of course, I had denied any knowledge of a naked, pregnant she-wolf on the loose. I was sure Brandy would be to scared to tell them much. However, they would take one look at Layla's back and know she had been beaten severely and that little bitch

William When I got back to the tree where I had statched my clothes. I shifted and got dressed. Then, I linked my father to ask where they all were. He told me they were in his office. So that's where I headed to. I had managed to get control of myself and Luke enough to deliver to them what I had seen inside the females mind. I walked into the packhouse and wasted no time getting to the office. There, I find my father and mother, Jack, Cayden, Archie, Dylan, and Uncle Brody all sitting around the conference table waiting for me. I took a seat at the table, placing my arms on the top of it and lacing my fingers in front of me. I looked to all of them who were looking at me. I took a deep breath before I began. "The female is telling the truth about everything." I stated flatly. I could tell that was not what any of them wanted to hear. My father raised his eyebrows and exchanged a knowing glance with Uncle Brody. It wasn't going to get any easier, so I continued. "She is d
