Chapter 4

This vicious fashion of crossing this world peek the attention of the powerful entities who overseer the place. Surround the Curse Mountain is the border mountain of 

the Four Great Countries. In a west side, a second of a highest mountain, a young man wearing robe which looked like stained by blood stood there, hovered to the air. 

“Interesting...” he murmured, looking as if seeing something wonderful at the distance. The person next to him is the woman with a strange expression, saying something that no one could be heard about. Seeing the woman, who no other than Mariya, makes her feel something srange to the whole situation. Then she look at the mountain neared the Curse Mountain, and she nodded with understanding when she caught sight of vicious young handsome looking man.

The young vicious young handsome man was no other than Raj! Next to him was the cautious young man as ever. His name is Hez and he looked down simultaneously at the distance mountain surround the other mountain, which side by side and seems like standing there to guard the Curse Mountain to every threat possible.

The look of different eyes landed to the both of this young man. Despite their appearance that looks like cannot kill a fly, can murder a dragon in a single glance of their bloody eyes. The surround mountain almost seem bowed its head to the highest mountain of all. And the surround powerful overseer who guard the place cautiously supressed there killing intent. 

Raj has the power to destroy them for single mistake. That mistake of action include the way they behave and make a move against his people, and above all, step a single foot to the land that he guarded with his life. They very well-known the cruelness of this foe, and the reason behind the cautiousness of his Pack.

It is like a saying goes: dare to ride and never stop, doing so comes with a price of ones life! 

That's why if this people doesn't confidence enough, they shouldn't have act rashly. However, this foe of them is a mysterious to the extreme. For the years that passed, it is natural that they send spies everywhere and even follow this man but whatever the method is, it bound to fail.

And obviously, no one have ever come out alive the moment they pursue him with intention of harm. That viciousness and bizzareness of ways make this people from the three countries to think hard before taking an action.

Apparently, Raj acting as if no one is around. His attention focus solely to the woman who fell viciously from the top of a Curse Mountain. “Despite the danger...she keep trying?” That's what running on his mind. The reason why he focus though his attention is the veey main factor of why he show up at the time like this, hovering with focus attention to surrounding at the highest mountain of the four. Even though the price he has to pay is great to the extreme, he has to pay extra attention so no price can hindrance his focus as of this moment.

“I cannot find a familiar flactuation or an aura of some sort...” he murmured, then glance at the distance, as if searching for something or someone most important than mere Outsider. “Where is she?” Obviously, he's at the peak of the air after being informed that someone he have been longing for so long will mysteriously show up once and for all!

Next to Raj was the man who suddenly felt that something is amass, anxiously look at the distance where, upon close examination, appear to be a civilicize place. However he put the action done by Raj as something that didn't makes any sense. Hez has the feeling that Outside woman who cross the Curse Mountain is not at the person they were looking about. But then, showing mercy to this Outsider who try viciously to cross this world is such a grieving ofense. Is the man he adore and oath to protect with his life, was in fact, not afraid for mass misunderstanding from the surrounding spectator? Is he gotten softy and merciful, or something?

“Why killed the judge of the Curse Mountain, Exalted One?” he asked with a serious and cool tone. He barely manage to hold his resolve as he find that most of the strange gaze coming from the three forces has a unique light. It makes him feel that they most likely see through the weakness of this person beside him.

Raj did not answer and was left silent. And yet he didn't make any violent reaction at all, as if everything is under his control. Naturally, he heard the question, and yet, he doesn't want to confirm something that he couldn't put to words. His purpose on coming and personally guard the mountain, especially and specifically for this day, was to find out the woman who put an end of everything that rooted way back to a thousands of years. 

However, nothing especially is happening, but shockingly, the Outsider caught his attention before he let go the last strand of hope in his heart. But then again, this Outsider woman is not familiar to him in every aspect, so it's possible that he was fooled by someone vicious to the extreme to make appearance in this time and moment as this Outside one cross like fly, trying to match the height of the dragon.

Not saying a single word, Raj wave a hand. A vicious blows of wind felt and cover the both of him and Hez almost immediately. 

“Alpha...?” Hez taken aback by the sudden action of the Alpha. But didn't say anything afterwards, not after when he felt the wind begun to carry its function. As if Hez finally understand something. They again failed to retrieved what theirs to begin with...

For the last time, Hez glance to the woman who, as of this moment, after being spared for some unknown reason by the Alpha, was now go on with her own journey in the distance. He didn't see special about that woman, so ordinary to the ultimate realm. And yet, the fact that she cross the mountain is something that he reconsider on accepting the decision of the Alpha. Maybe he is not genius enough to see through the Alpha's scheme.

“Perhaps the reason why Raj never let a mere monster to devour that woman,” he thought, “was for the very strange reason that even I couldn't understand if not known the reason at the very place of the appearance of the Exalted one in this place.” A strange expression appeared in his eyes before finally disappeared and the sky distorted. He felt a stronger premonition that something's going to happen soon. However, he immediately dropped the idea and feeling as suspicious as ever to everything, he said, “Exalted Alpha, please reconsider the weight of action! Will you really let the Outsider roam freely without getting punsihed?”

For someone as outsider like such vicius woman, the Alpha he known should have suspected the bizzareness of thing earlier. So to avoid something that the danger the Outsider may bring, the Alpha must punished whoever dare to set foot in his protected land. 

Hez was spoken in a way that he is talking to a person, both with status and a best friend to that person, which since known each other and through hardship and success. As someone who guarded this place from any possible threat, the Exalted Alpha must not let that very woman to leave unscathed. 

However the silence makes Hez felt as if he cross the line and suddenly, the tremor ran through him. He immediately clasped his hands and sighed to understand the trouble that deepened in the eyes of the Alpha. Voice respected, he said, “I'll trust your judgement, only this time, Exalted Alpha!” For unknown reason, the trouble lifted in the instant and Raj nodded at him as approved him for something. 

The travel to the wind underway smoothly. The destination was the Village in the distance. Specifically, the non-detectable mountain that overseer the Village as a whole. On the way, Hez thought with the last strand of his suspicious to the Outsider woman, “Is she an ordinary passerby? If that so, then how can she overcome the peril that initially done by the curse mountain itself?” Those are the lingering question that everyone who have seen the vicious and bizarreness of things that have happened earlier. Not only Hez and Raj thought that way, even the other spectator that left shaken in the very feet of the mountain they assign to overseer. 

Something to the Outsider woman, but everyone has difference regarding the matter. The way she willed herself to survive is something not an ordinary adventurer from the other world could do, and that's left everyone with a differing impression. 

“Remember we're here for your Luna,” Hez, in a low but serious tone, reminded the Exalted Alpha. “Nothing else and nothing more should shaken you, Exalted Alpha.” 

Raj specifically reminded by the very reason why he have to turn his back from that woman, and the words coming from Hez, and he took as a good shown of faith. Now, he certainly know that his silence and pondering to all his action earlier, in fact, was the right way to do. From all the desire that awoke inside of him just by meeting an insignicant woman, it help him remind and strongly looking to the day he found the exact woman who will complete his world, and the peace therein.

“I know.” Raj replied after some thought of the matter. Moment later, he disappear from thin air just after materialized from the very top of the mountain surrounded the Main Village.

After awhile, Hez hovered with a breeze of mist and disappear to the distance Wood. Leaving behind a whisper: “If that so, then I have to remind you from time to time...my best friend.”

From time to time, the both of them have race and polished the art they acquired and learned together. Both of them felt like go with the flow of wind sometime, while making use of the shadow of the heaven if they are hovering in the sky above. Same to the ground, making use of the shadow of the Mountain.

But it is not at all a game. 

Not just a moment after what happened in the Curse Mountain, they continued their search for some clues regarding the matter of the Luna.

“We have to look for another way,” Hez suggested after some thought of the matter.

Raj nodded, fully understand what he meant. 

“The enchantress said that we can find her here,” Hez continued as soon as he ground to a halt. 

“I don't find any traces, even a strand of familiar presence,” Raj replied with a suspicious look and glance to the mountain at the center of the Village. “Where the problem lies on? What blocked our connection?” 

Hez couldn't voice out what he observe to the wind as he felt that something is amass. It is unbelievably harsh that makes his mind cloudy. It is acceptable if they were at the heart of the Curse Mountain, but they left as soon as the noon break. They makes sure to not bother the Curse Mountain anymore, because of the perish of the monster that judge it for a thousands years. Is it because Raj kill the judge of the Curse Mountain?

“The Enchantress didn't say anything.” Raj able to hold himself after the silence, and don't disturb the seriousness of the atmosphere. He face the Village that from a distance looks like was in eternal peace and beauty, then suddenly it surrounded by fog that only in the mountain should have seen. He don't want to be negative but he feel something is going on, as if someone successfully infiltrate the Village while they are moment away. 

“I think we have to go hurry.” However, it is the point where suddenly the wind never listen to his call. As if it find its freedom and part ways from his connection to it, or simply sprouted with a will of its own.

Hez saw how Raj face flickered and he suddenly feel that he also feel the amass he felt. He suddenly reminded about that day, the day when Raj find his parents drowned on their own blood and with the blood of everyone that killed that day. Their lifeless body almost couldn't verified but they are the leader of the Pack and the protector of the Village, so as their presence disappear that day, the only possibility is that they left the world of a living. That left the Pack and the Village to almost wipe out and thrown uproar, then a great mess.

Futhermode, Raj was too late to received the news. Too late that it takes him years to go back from his training and find out that he has no family to great him 'welcome back'. The training to be the next Alpha, to not only protect his subject, but his life and everyone he care about. And yet, that day, he lose everything, only his life to protect.

So the sudden appearance of the fog left Raj shaken, and Hez enraged. To not be able to rescue the Village just like the days when he is in training, that left Raj in the ultimate guilt. Is he really deserve to be an Exalted Alpha? A protector who couldn't maintain the safety until a catastrophe is in vicinity.

“How dare them...to comeback?!”

As an Alpha, it is not something for anyone to do the task just like in a game of race, to win with ultimate strength that one possess. However, Raj science of hunting down those who dare to cause havooc is in ultimate level. Turning to Hez, he said in hurry, “Remember the game we played when we're in training?” A sinister smile broke out in his face. “Let's filled the dark with a bloody mist!” Then a roared broke out in heart of mountain, shaken the ground to the core!
