CHAPTER 101 Keep Her Safe

　　Jason's POV

　　"I can protect her," I nodded to Damien, seeing the tension in his face. The way his jaw tightened as his eyes followed Ab's until they narrowed angrily on the door she had escaped through told me there was more to this Dante than he was telling me. The fact that he feared for her safety and scrutinised every potential threat made me uneasy if HE was this concerned, I should be too. Nevertheless, I had to reassure him and take a little of the weight off his shoulders.

　　Damien had always prided himself on being the bigger bastard. Growing up, we had all predicted he would finally find someone bigger than him to knock him down a peg or two finally. However, now it was happening; I must admit I didn't like it or the pain it seemed to be causing him. I had never seen him look this worried, and it made me anxious.
