It was buzzing inside the mansion when Lola arrived. She listened in to hear if maybe Jax was close by but there were too many voices overlapping and she couldn't separate them to find his.

She walked to the study thinking that’s where he had to be and she passed many warriors on the way, all of them eyeing her with judgment as she tried to hold her head high and not shrink under their glares.
