Chapter sixty nine.

THOMAS POV

Brenda's words were still going through my mind cuz I actually was being irrational because I wanted to save my mother.

Will she even be happy with being saved from the dark market...or what if it didn't work but only worsened her condition altogether?

I then my thought went to how old and tired she was she couldn't even look at me anymore, she was an empty shell that and it was basically not even my mother there anymore just a bunch of bones even with this image in mind I braced myself and worked in it was then that I saw two actual bags of bones that should have died a long time ago.

They were standing at my mother's bedside.

"Queen Joanna, how are you feeling?" When I saw the duo I felt like slamming their heads together but I kept my cool.

"Elder Jaden," he looked back along with his usual accomplice and mate Elder Lana.

"We came to offer our condolences about your mother-"
