I lay in Lucifer's arms, I couldn't help but feel a sense of peace wash over me. The events of the past few days had been so chaotic and tumultuous, but being with him made everything feel right.

We were lying on a soft, fluffy rug in front of a roaring fire, and the warmth of the flames coupled with the heat emanating from his body was intoxicating. I snuggled closer to him, inhaling his musky scent and feeling his strong arms wrap around me protectively.

"You know," he said, breaking the comfortable silence, "I never thought I'd find someone like you."

I looked up at him, surprised. "What do you mean?"

"I mean someone who understands me, someone who accepts me for who I am, flaws and all. Someone who doesn't judge me for my past or my actions."

I smiled, feeling a rush of affection for him. "I love you, Lucifer. You don't have to be perfect for me to love you."

He smiled back, his eyes shining with emotion. "And I love you, my sweet." He leaned down and kissed me so
