As I walked through the grand entrance of my mansion, I couldn't help but feel a sense of relief. The palace can be quite overwhelming at times, especially with all the politics and backstabbing that goes on. But here, in my own home, I could relax and let my guard down.

My servants were bustling about, each one focused on their respective tasks. Maria, my head maid, was organizing the schedule for the next day, while John, the butler, was overseeing the preparation of the dining room for dinner. The sound of pots and pans clattering could be heard from the kitchen, where the chef and his team were hard at work.

I made my way to the study, where I could read the mysterious letter in peace. The room was quiet and dimly lit, with only the flickering flame of the fireplace providing any illumination. The smell of old books and leather filled the air, adding to the sense of nostalgia that always accompanied me in this room.
