Chapter 5

Leo’s pov

I sat in my office, some pack member’s transfer papers waiting for me to sign but I kept it aside.

I sighed as I leaned against the chair, my mind in turmoil because it constantly thought of Bella, and the hold she had on me.

The look in her eyes when she rejected me made me so mad that I found myself chucking the papers across the room.

It missed hitting my beta, Micheal. He raised his brow at me in question and I shook my head.

“Trouble in paradise?” He asked,

I found myself nodding, “you could say that.”

His eyes widened like he couldn’t believe the words that came out of my mouth. Well, I couldn’t believe it either.

He took a seat and folded his hands as he waited for me to talk, he shook his head and stood up.

“Let’s go to the training room. Sitting like this and talking about it makes me wonder…”

I huffed a laugh, and stood.

We made our way to the training room, finding it empty.

I took off my shirt and he followed suit and we began sparring. Micheal was the perfect partner, he gave as good as he got.

I landed a punch on his cheek and he grunted.

“I found my mate.”

Micheal’s eyes widened. “That’s good news.” He said as he dodged a kick from me.

“And I rejected Bella,”

He winced, his smile slipped and he looked at me like I had grown two heads 

“Okay, you are going to start from the beginning because I am confused.”

I nodded. “I had Bella and I found Kate, I rejected Bella and now she is gone.”

Micheal pursed his lips and I leaned back on my toes as he threw punches left and right, coming for my face.

I dodged them expertly.

Now that I have heard it out loud, I felt mad and betrayed by Bella. She walked out on me when she could have been by my side.

“So you think Kate is your mate?” He asked,

I nodded.

“Leo, as your beta, I will have to respect your decision but as your friend, you are being obtuse. Kate is not what she appears to be so you have to be careful and dig deeper.”

“What is your point?”

Micheal sighed, “I am saying you should dig deeper into this and find out for yourself if you made the right decision.”

My body language changed and like Micheal could recognize it, he changed too.

He threw the first punch and I dogged, my feet came up to meet his face but he jumped and rolled over.

His lips curled up in a snarl as he attacked, but I had him in a headlock as I watched as he struggled. He delivered a lethal punch to my ribs and I let out a grunt.

I released him.

He smirked, “you are getting soft.”

A growl left my lips as I charged, he sidestepped me and kicked my behind. I huffed a laugh and shook my head as he snickered.

“You need to get your head in the game, Leo.” He taunted.

I shouldn’t give in but I couldn’t help myself, and I charged at him again. I delivered punch after punch till he was laying flat on the ground.

He coughed up blood as he laughed, “you need to figure out what you want and get it over with.” He advised.

He was right. I hate it when he is right.

My anger boiled and I found myself clenching and unclenching my fists, the urge to hit something was pronounced and so hard to resist.

I stood still, fighting myself to go full beast mode on Micheal.

“Leo?”

I stood up and stalked out of the room before I ended up beating my beta.

There was nothing I could do, Kate was going to be my Luna. I have no choice but to adapt to the change real quick.

I entered my room and stopped short when I saw Kate laying on my bed with few clothes on. My mouth watered and I walked towards her.

“What’s this?” I asked,

“I thought I should surprise you,” her sultry voice soothed my anger.

“Not now, Kate.”

If she heard me, she didn’t make any indication. She simply stood up to meet me, her eyes blazing with an emotion I wasn’t sure of.

“I know you are angry, I can see it in your body language. Use me, let me be the one to calm you.”

Her forehead was on mine as she spoke so every word caressed my lips. I closed my eyes and shook my head.

“Not right now. Not like this.”

She nodded, her gaze filled with disappointment, “if you say so, Alpha. Enjoy.” She said as she leaned back.

I growled internally, her ability to manipulate me used to piss me off and it still did but right now, she was right.

I needed an outlet and she was more than capable of handling herself since she was the one offering.

I leaned towards her and captured my lips with hers, she moaned into my mouth instantly and grabbed on to my bicep.

I lifted her from the bed and sat on it as she straddled me from this new position. She giggled as I peppered her body with kisses.

“You are so intense,” she said.

“And you feel good,” I whispered against her lips.

She giggled again and slammed her lips to mine but I was prepared this time, my tongue slid into her parted mouth and tangled with her tongue.

She rolled her hips and a groan left my lips, her fingers made their way to my pants and unbuttoned them.

“Are you sure?” I asked.

She rolled her hips as she nodded, Kate was pretty, and with a body that made a man go crazy for her.

She was going to be mine.

I let her fondle me from my pants as I ground my hips to hers.

“God, you feel so good!” She threw her head back as she let out a moan.

I bit the side of her neck gently, leaving my marks all over her tender skin. Her nipples stood erect and I gave them their attention.

I pinched them through the bra she had on and she arched her back.

“Please Leo,” she said.

I arched my brows and placed a warm lip over the nipple, her hips shot up but I grabbed them. I flicked my tongue on the rose buds that called to me.

I traced a finger to her warm, wet mound that demanded my attention. Her center was wet like she had been waiting for me.

“Is all of this for me?”

“Yes Leo,” she Moaned.

“Good,” 

I dipped a finger and curved it as a small gasp left her, her pupils were dilated and she appeared to be in a world of her own.

A world that I was about to join her in.

She kept grinding her hips against mine as I fingered her, my mouth was still on her nipple as I sucked.

Giving her pleasure in every way I could, her whimpers filled the room and I smiled.

I kissed her head and maneuvered her so she was laying on the bed, my fingers were still on her center.

“Please.” She pleaded.

I nodded and let my pants slip on the floor, her eyes widened when she took a look at me and I smirked.

I needed an ego boost.

“Be gentle,” she said.

I nodded even though I had no intention to be.

I guided my member to her entrance and snapped my hips forward, her hips came up to meet mine as I inched in little by little.

Her little moans drew me in and so did her warmth. I leaned forward till I was completely sheathed, my breaths came out in small pants as I breathed at the junction of her neck

The same place my mark would be.

“Please,”

I withdrew and she whimpered, it quickly changed to a moan when I pushed forward again. 

Soon, our moans and groans filled the room while I pleasured her. I fucked her into the mattress, ignoring her need for me to be gentle.

I didn’t want to be gentle and she wanted this. I pinned her down with my hand on her throat and squeezed.

She came with a wail and I followed soon after, I leaned back and laid on my back.

When my eyes closed, it wasn’t Kate that filled my mind and appeared in my thoughts, it was Bella.

My mind twinged with guilt when I realized that I made a bad choice in sending her away.
