" No" Cody responded. " If you're going to be our leader then you should show us that you won't be leaving any of us behind. That's what a true leader would do" he added. Roman's eyes gleaned with anger as he glared at Cody, " they disobeyed me. They had their own agendas before coming here. This was supposed to be a quick mission and I sure as hell don't know when those people will send a guard replacement. If I were you, I'd shut up and follow the orders you're given" " Then maybe you should carry them by yourself." " Do you realize you're breaking -""- yes, I am breaking the oath because you're only using us for your advantage - very much like your father. " Cody interrupted while Roman smirked in response. " I take it that you're going with him too," Roman asked Tyler and when the boy didn't seem to know what to say, he lifted Giselle and threw him over his shoulder, then he stretched out his hand and Tyler reluctantly placed Jed over his shoulders. " I could carry two," De
Elora did not know that she had been switching personalities. There were moments when she could tell that she was saying things that she wouldn't tell Roman normally but she couldn't control it, especially when she starts feeling a certain way that made it look like she was being an entirely different person. She was sulking all day until Roman returned. Dayna and the other girls left after she fought with them. After everything, she regained herself and felt really awful about what was happening to her and the things she was saying to people unprovoked. " Hey Roman, welcome," she said smiling at him but her smile disappeared when she saw that he was drenched in blood from head to toe. Roman hated the way she looked at him. She looked absolutely terrified and scared, which meant to him that she was her normal self again. " Thanks," he said before he went to the bathroom to wash but when he got there and looked at himself in the mirror, he had terrible flashbacks of his teen years.
While Elora stayed with her mother and friends, Roman left the house and went to check on the people he rescued yesterday. His former foul mood was replaced with something slightly better - mild happiness. " Roman! Roman! I mean, Alpha Roman" Cody said as he ran towards him. " I see you're doing well," Roman said unable to smile at Cody but Cody didn't seem to have a care in the world." Yeah...I mean my body still hurts but when I saw my mother today...I don't know, I got so emotional at first, and then later I was like, totally energetic. Though it hurts like hell when I run, it was worth it because I was running to you"Roman looked him up and down and said, " are you trying to flirt with me?" " Is it me or are you totally not having any expression on your face? It looks like you're in pain" Cody said instead and it made Roman want to laugh but he couldn't. " Yeah, it's a side effect," Roman said. " Well...I know about this hack..." Cody said with a mischievous smile on his fa
" Roman!!!" Another person called just as Dayna was breaking the news to him. It was Elora. The love of his life. He watched as she walked towards him, tears in her beautiful eyes and her lips quivering with every step she took. She must've heard about what was coming and she must've been terrified. " Roman, please come with me," she said and pulled him with her back inside their own room. " I heard your father is coming for us," she said and Roman nodded. Strangely he wasn't as tense as he would've been years back. He just wanted to be able to think clearly and the only way he could do that was by not being tense. " Roman, are you listening to me? He must know where we are. What do we do? Should we run?" She asked holding his hands desperately. " Why would we run? It's best to get rid of him now. It's now or never" Roman responded with a reassuring smile. Elora didn't even notice that he could express himself now. She was too worried to notice that. She was more surprised that R
Elora remained indoors and didn't come out. She went straight to her children's crib and watched them wondering in her heart if she would be deemed a bad mother for not staying with them and fighting instead or if she would be called a coward for not helping her mate fight a necessary battle. What she knew for a fact was that if Roman dies she will hate herself. So she sat there and watched her children while thinking long and hard about the decision she had to make. As for Roman, immediately he left Elora and went back to find Cody and the others, he gathered them under the tree at the back of the building and said to them, " My father is coming. I'm sure you already know this but here is my request. I saved you all because I wanted to have people to lead when I eventually end my father's rule. I also wanted all of you to be a part of this fight but...there are children here who could get hurt and traumatized all over again." " What are you saying, Roman?" Cody asked. " I'm sayin
After Roman had his bath, Elora was in the sitting room with their children. Roman wanted to stay with her but he needed to find Josh and Caleb. He had to know if they survived or not. After all, it was he who sent them on a fool's errand. " Please El, let me put some things in order. After that I'm all yours for the rest of the day and the night" he said when she wouldn't let him go. " Please..." He begged after kissing her senseless and then she yielded. He left and was surprised to see that Cody was hosting a party. " Cody, this is no time for a party. My father still had allies that I need to put in their place. Until then, there will be no parties - though I appreciate the thought behind it" he said." That's a bummer. I thought we would be free to do whatever we wanted for a while" Tyler complained." Yeah... we'll party our asses off after order has been restored permanently," Roman said. " I'm off to Blue Moon Pack by the way. I'll see you guys later." He added and said hi
Elora opened the door and gasped at the people she saw standing outside her door. She never thought she would see them again but yet they were standing right in front of her. " Gina, Aidan? I...I'm so happy to see you two!" She said with a smile before she stepped aside so they could come in. Gina looked perfectly fine. It was as if she didn't age a day and Aidan had gotten so much bigger than she recalled. He looked very happy to be with Gina and seeing them holding hands like that made her a bit sad because she had no one to hold on to, it couldn't kill the joy she was currently feeling because she finally got to see them after almost fifteen years. " It's so good to see you too," Aidan said giving Elora a big hug. It was Gina who was acting a bit awkward even when Elora hugged her. " Hi" Gina managed to say with a nervous smile. " Oh my gosh, come on over to the sitting room and have a seat," Elora said smiling from ear to ear as she ushered them to the sitting room. " How hav
Pandora's POVMy sisters and I never went to school at the same time so it was no surprise to anyone when I entered the class one minute late while everyone else was already seated. Our class was painted mint green - a color I despised and the writings on the wall spelled the name of our school - Blue Moon Highschool Rhevys branch. Our mother didn't think it wise for us to study at New Moon like we always did when we were living with our grandmother. So we were fairly new students as we have only studied here for a year. This was one of the decisions our mother man that made my sisters angry with her. They believed New Moon was better because while we were there, we were treated way better than here. At New Moon High, a lot of the truth was told when it came to the battle between our father and his father. Not the fabricated and made-up stuff that the students and even the teachers digested here. We were kind of revered and it was because the Alpha, Alpha Drew liked us. I heard that
