25 - BenMy wolf has never taken over my human form like that before. I didn’t fight him very hard for control once the cord of tension snapped between Elara and I. We both knew she wasn’t going to rest without force and it was either sedate her or wear her out. He chose wear her out. It was too tempting with her standing there looking fierce, dripping wet asking to be taken care of with out words. 24 - ElaraHe follows me silently as I head up to my room. As we enter I hear his phone vibrate in his pocket. I catch a glimpse of his lock screen and my heart stutters a little. 22 - BenIt turns out an hour wasn’t enough time for Doc Jensen to figure out what the substances were, because it was a combination of things. It’s been almost a week and he has checked in with us everyday. So far he has found Wolfsbane, Foxglove, Belladonna, Mandrake Root and Datura. All of which have a variety of ways to harm humans and wolves. Add to that the effects of the human drugs added in and these kids don’t stand a chance.“Miss Elara’s poor teen was probably carrying Datura or Mandrake powder. Which would have caused hallucinations and disorientation and a severe reaction when it came into contact with his skin in this concentration and stopped his heart. Or if it was a liquid, Wolfsbane and Belladona can be used as sedatives.” The doc rubs his hands together as he is running through his findings. “These concentrations are what worries me. We are getting to a crossover point in our story and as I was going back to Ryker and Kennedy's book to double check time frames and to make sure I was remaining true to their story, I got lost in re-reading it. So many more tid-bits and details are there than I remember putting in!Adding to my research and trips down memory lane bot of my kids are wrapping up their spring sports with a ton of travel. June has been a month for us. I have slept in hotels more often than my own bed in the last month.Ben and Kennedy will get their loose ends tied up soon, I promise!!
