All Sorted Out

SARAH'S POV

Maybe I did not hear right. True, I was looking forward to his special announcement though I didn't know what it was about but he totally caught me off-guard.

"Babe!" Sarah yelled excitedly at me. She was obviously very happy for me but I didn't even know how I was feeling.

Air got caught up in my throat and immediately, Damon stepped down from the podium, I turned around and walked out of the hall. I headed to the nearest restroom and washed my hands. I couldn't ruin my make-up so I just had water touch my hands instead.

Then Damon walked in.

"Sarah." He called. I took a deep breath before facing him.

"Why didn't you discuss it with me first?" I asked with a cold face.

"Why? Don't you want to get married?" He asked. The question caught me unawares too. I had never for once thought about it. So I had no answer.

"Sarah, give me an answer." He said again. I couldn't help but dissolve my cold expression. I let out a deep breath and opened my mouth to speak but nothing came
