Trixie's point of view.
I ran after her. my eyes watching every stick and uneven tread in the ground I leaped with precision that I could not process and could see perfectly even though it was dark with just flickers of the moon light coming through in certain spots of tree branches. The ground felt damp and soft beneath my paws. It felt. . . natural. Like I was suppose to be doing this my whole life. Melissa slowed in front of me and circled around. She shook her head no to me.
