Trixie POVI headed down the hall and into the office and knocked on Mrs. Rogers door. “Come in!” Her voice rang out to me. I opened the door and stepped in. “Hi, I am Trixie and, on my schedule, it asks me to come to you to get this block filled in?” I introduce myself to the school’s new counselor and tell her why I am here. She smiles and nods at me, “Yes, Come on over and have a seat. Let me see that schedule of yours.” She tells me. I stepped up to the chairs in front of the desk and sat down, handing out my schedule for her to take a look. She looks at the paper for a few moments and looked back up to me. “I am afraid dear I only have one class with open enrollment for this period still, but it is a good one.” She smiled towards the end of her sentence and leaned in like she was telling me a secret. She paused waiting on me, I guess. “Well, what is it?” I asked her afraid I would be stuck in some advanced placement class or another hard class. “I am glad you asked.” She began, “I
By the time I made it to the front of the school, Abby, Janet and Jerica were all already there waiting on me right inside the doors. I smile, thinking how lucky I am to start my senior year with such good friends and . . . boyfriend? Trevor and I hadn’t put a label on anything but in my head, I guess it made sense for me to want to refer to him as my boyfriend. “Hey Seniors!” I taunted them as I walked up. “Hey Trevor's girl!” Abby teased me but it only made me smile bigger. I liked the sound of that.“Alright, alright!” Janet hushed us, “So, you are for sure going to lunch with Trevor and he is going to bring you to the store to met us after so we can all shop supplies together?” I nodded at her. “He should be waiting for us by Abby’s car already.” I told them. She nodded. Jerica peered out the door and smiled. “Yeah, I can see his SUV down there.” She turned back and looked at me. “What are we waiting on, let’s go! I am starving!” I tell them smiling knowing I was hungry but I wante
Trevor’s POVWe pulled in at the store to meet Trixie’s friends for some school shopping. I had already asked her if I could shop with her and her friends and she didn’t seem to mind. I also mind linked Jake to tag along too so that I wasn’t the only male, plus he seemed to have an unspoken thing with Jerica and both seemed to be pretty stubborn about admitting it. I almost believe that he is her mate and he just hasn’t told her. I mean I get it but they are both wolfs and he would be able to tell her easily without the implications of explain our whole existence to her unlike me and my mate. She was lovely and I couldn’t help but what to be near her all the time. She jumps out of her side before I get a chance to go around and open her door. We parked right behind her friend Abby’s car. They all got together and were pulling out their list from classes today. Luckily, we were able to use magic and get them to hire my parents as staff at the school. My mom was a guidance counselor now
Jake’s POVI stood there as Abby drove away my mate and her friends to their houses with Alpha Trevor feeling somewhat proud that the cashier took my money over Jerica’s. I had won that battle. Jerica was so independent, I loved that about her but it was becoming frustrating too. She wanted me around but never wanted me to treat her like a girlfriend, eventually she would understand and quit fighting me so much. I looked over at Trevor who had a goofy grin on his face.“I figured it out.” He said crossing his arms over his chest and leaned back against his SUV. “What? Figured what out?” I asked him confused at where he was coming from. “I figured out your deal.” He said cockily. “My deal?” I asked confused even more. “Jerica is your mate and you have known for what . . two years but you haven’t told her, otherwise she wouldn’t resist being with you.” He spat out. Shit. He did know what my deal was. My stomach dropped. I swallowed hard. “Look, I know you can understand my situation. I h
Trixie POV It was a glorious Friday morning; I woke up in a great mood with the sun shining bright and a warm breeze coming through my window. I hopped out of bed and took a quick shower and got ready for school. I bounced downstairs to find both my parents had already gone to work. I shot Abby a quick text. Hey! I am ready whenever you get here! – Trixie I hit send and checked my backpack for the essay I had to write on my leadership quote and what it meant to me. I totally saw that one coming. It only had to be three paragraphs, but I ended up cranking out about five. I feel like it was going to be an easy A; and it turns out the leadership and development class was quickly becoming my favorite one over the last week. DING! My phone went off. Here! – Abby I zipped it up and ran out to the driveway and jumped in the passenger seat. It was just Abby and myself today. Janet had an appointment with a fashion school for an interview for a work study program interning at a local fash
Jerica’s POVI rush off to class before Abby and Trixie can question me further about why I rode to school with Jake. We had been at Alpha’s since five am brainstorming on how we were going to celebrate Trixie’s birthday in three weeks all while trying to get her in our territory for when she shifts and keep her safe and talk her into officially joining our pack. Alpha was getting more impatient by the day but was willing to wait until her first shift. Jake and his brother and my dad thought we should tell her now so she can prepare herself for what is coming. I agreed with Trevor. She needed this little bit of time left to enjoy a somewhat normal life that she thought she was living out in her head. I know all to well the responsibilities that are going to be put on her as Luna. As the Betas daughter I saw it with my mother and father.Trevor’s vote is final though as Alpha, he gave it as an order so that no one could disobey him. He also ordered us not to talk about it with anyone o
Jerica’s POVI finished the school day managing to avoid the girls. I texted Ryan and Amy which were two other wolfs from our pack that Alpha Trevor had order to go to school here and keep an eye on Trixie and protect her if any harm came her way. As well as our old pack Alpha and Luna which were Trevor’s parents. He made Trixie take a leadership development class that was taught by his dad.Part of the plan for trying to prepare her is getting her to open up to the idea that werewolf’s and other creatures that were made of folk lore and fairy tales to her might be real and co-exist in her world. To do that we are having to get an English teacher to head the book club for school, get her to be engaged in it and have a werewolf book assigned to read within it. Plus getting enough students involved, but on the upside I would do it. I could get Ryan and Amy to do it and then maybe a few other’s would show up as well to make it more of a group.Ryan&Amy I need to meet and talk about a new
Trixie POV*The next day 4th period*I entered my leadership and development class which was becoming one of my favorites recently and took a seat next to the same boy and girl that I had been in my math class and talking weird the first day. I overheard them talking. “I think this would be so cool!” I heard the girl say. “I mean I haven’t bought in yet but Ill read the first book and give it a try.” I glanced over and then back down on my desk there were flyers about a book club meeting after school today and once a week. This month’s theme was Legends and Love. I wonder what that means? “Hey! Are you going to come too!?” The girl asked out loud. I looked up to realize she was asking me. “Uhmmm .. . “ I shrugged my shoulders, “I am not sure.” She nodded. “I heard it was extra credit if you did!” She said with a smile. I didn’t really need extra credit, but it couldn’t hurt. “That’s right!” Our teacher spoke up, “Anyone who attends through the end of this month will get extra credit fo
Trevor POVMyself, Eric, Jake and Joe all waited downstairs for Alpha Brock, Charles and Alex to finally come down. "Good Morning, I trust you all slept well?" I greeted them. Charles nodded, "Indeed. The bed in my room is impeccably soft. I love it." Charles stretched and laughed to himself. "Perhaps you all would like some breakfast before discussing business?" Eric asked them. "Coffee is fine for me, never been much of a breakfast person myself. But Charles and Alex may disagree with me." He looks to them. "Speak for yourself." Alex grumbles, clearly he was not a morning person. "As far as business goes I believe we have already came to a decision. We agree to the alliance." Alpha Brock puffs out his chest. Eric smiles. "That is excellent news!" I say. "We need to have the blood oaths completed. I can see if Alpha Sam would be able to come tomorrow morning to complete the ritual." I tell Brock. "Tonight would be even better after the pack run?" Jake inquires of me. "You are right.
Trixie POVWe returned from the mall to find Jerica waiting on the front porch for us. I completely forgot she was coming by today to keep me company. I gave her a gentle smile as we got out of the car. She rolled her eyes and then smiled back. Standing up and following up inside. "I am - " "No need. Its all good. I was busy until about 20 minutes ago anyway." Jerica just smiled. I nodded. "You girls ready to whip it up in the kitchen?" Alana teased me. "Oh, you already know mom is ready to challenge you again for the cook off?" Jerica teased her. "I am sure she is." Alana giggled. "I need to know this story." I tell them. They both chuckle. "You will soon enough. Our annual cook soup off off is in the winter. You will likely be a judge this year. Better I not taint you to my side now or Melissa will be ready to fight me." Alana smiles. "Alright, alright. Lets whip something up together." We followed her into the kitchen. We made some homemade lasagna and popcorn and ending up spen
Trixie POVI wake up and can scent Trevor. Its light but its there. He must have came and checked on me after the visiting Alpha went to bed. I sighed and rolled out of the bed. His mother had set up the bathroom next to the room for me for the next couple of days. I grabbed a causal change of clothes and headed to the shower. When I got out the wonderful smell of blueberry waffles hit my nose. Strolling into the kitchen, Mrs. Rogers has already set the table for the three of us to eat breakfast. "It smells wonderful! Thank you," I tell her and take a seat. "She is a morning person and has always made a great breakfast spread." Trevor's dad, Mr.Rogers, smiles over to her bringing over the orange juice. "You know they say breakfast is the most important meal of the day." She grins at him. They are adorable. We ate mostly in silence until the end. "I was thinking Trixie, if you dont mind maybe you can accompany me on a shopping trip into the city today?" Mrs Rogers asked. She peers ov
Trevor's Mothers POV I stood in the hallway listening to Trixie climb back in the window. She was unaware that I had been listening. I can hear her heart rate rise and I can smell the salt of her tears. She has a love of her pack and for my Trevor. Trying to align the two while keeping everyone safe would not be easy. Is Trixie alright? Trevor forces through to mindlink me. Yes dear. She is just a little upset and I think she is missing you. I told him. No need to share the details. She will tell him when she is ready. Although next time we will have to figure out how her Aunt Alice is slipping by border patrol undetected. I am going to come by after this idiot goes to his room for the night. I don't trust him. He huffs through the mindlink. I will leave the back door unlocked so you can slip in quietly; just lock it behind you when you enter and leave. Thanks mom. He cuts off the link. Trixie begins to calm down and her rate rate begins to normalize. I tiptoe to the back door
Trixie's POVIt was late. Completely Dark outside but my wolf was restless and pacing inside me wanting to be with Trevor. I laid on the bed with my eyes closed and headphones on listening to some throwbacks from Hale storm and Fallout Boys when something tapped on my arm. I opened my eyes to find no one. Then something hit my arm. A pebble. I looked around and found my cousin Alice had propped open the window and threw 2 pebbles in trying to get my attention. I threw off my headphones and headed to the window."What are you doing? You can't be here. There are visitors. This is Trevor's parents house." I whisper shouted at her. She shrugged and shhed me, "Come on, we can talk out here." Alice urged me to climb out the window. Luckily I was able to do so without much noise. "Follow me. We need to stay inside the tree line so no one sees us." She whispered. I nodded and followed behind her. We ran through the shadows and froze listening for steps seeing if we had been followed. Once far
Trixie POV When I got back to the pack house I found Trevor passed out in the hammock on the back patio. I grabbed my dress and slipped it on and gently nudged him away. He trudged up the stairs half asleep pulling my hand behind him. Throwing his shirt over his head and dropping his pants on the floor he climbed into bed and patted the mattress beside him. I can see his wolf swirling in his irises. I walk over to the drawer and grab one of his shirt and slip on before climbing into bed with him. He quickly grabs me pulling me into him and curling up to me and passes back out almost instantly. Trevor and his wolf must be exhausted from the trip and being away from us. Too bed more separation is to come. But that is for us to deal with tomorrow. ***The next morning I woke early and brought breakfast to our room. Trevor just waking when I returned with our plates. We had a quite breakfast looking out on the patio and hearing the morning birds song. Once finished I began packing. I h
Trevor's POV I squeezed my hand around Trixie's thigh as she sat in the passenger seat beside me watching me drive off from dinner. I sighed to myself my wolf prancing in my head that we were back with our mate. I honestly felt slightly guilty for what I am going to have to tell her at dinner. None the less her protection is my top priority. The less they knew about her going into the alliance the better. I am glad she missed me so much and we got to have a little fun right away becuase I have a feeling that tonight after I give her the options; there would be no more fun. We pulled up to vallet at the resturant right inside of the city, passing my keys off and helping Trix out of the car. She wore this little olive sundress that I wish I had taken the time for round two, just so I could behind her over the dresser in it. She smiled up at me and climbed out of the car. I love the view of her down in front of me looking up. I have to adjust myself after she steps in front of me. This
Trixie Point of view The day passed slowly as I patiently waited on Trevor to come home. I had went on a run and done some light combat training with Jerica this morning. Ate breakfast and just finished lunch. Took a shower and painted my toenails. It was a rather dull day I spent thinking about Alice and my father until my ears picked up a car coming down the drive and I could sense him near by. Trevor was home. I quickly got jumped out of bed rushing out the door almost shoving Jake down in the process and raced down stairs to the front door. I paused and took a deep breath and then opened the door and stepped out and waiting for him to park and get out of his SUV. Who was I kidding. I was itching to get back in his arms. As soon as he stepped out my feet had a mind of their own running to him and jumping into him wrapping my legs and arms around him. He caught me with perfect timing holding my tightly against him as I peppered his face with kisses. I heard Joseph and Eric chuckle
Trevor's point of view I rubbed my temples for the hundredth time during this meeting. I was tired and frustrated at how many questions the other Alpha's had for me. They were asking valid questions but I was trying to keep my Trixie safe and her secret. However, they would not let it go. "Allow me to recap what you have told us Alpha Trevor. You have had spontaneous rogue attacks until recently you experienced a force of a little over one hundred rogues banding to attack you. You kill them all or they all retreat except for one. That one you interogated and she told you that the hunters are taking over pack in the west, experimenting on their children and raping the women and keeping them as slaves after they have killed all the men and warriors. The hunters made them attack you pack. But the question still remains why target you? You have the second largest pack in North America." Alpha Brock wasn't against the alliance as it appeared but he was smart enough to know that there w
